You lose the ability to change your wallpaper or theme, and you can't get drivers through Windows update. That's it. The core of the OS remains completely functional.
Any time someone tells you windows costs money you can tell them they are full of shit.

windows has been free since win8
>he can't spend $5 on a Windows key
>he can't spend $0 and install Linux
this is what I do on my macbook
activating windows is a meme
if you don't use it as your main OS why do you need to change the wallpaper
When will GNUnet be finished?
What is that? Tor for autists?
Are newer thinkpads worth it?

'm trying to set up my PS3 on a Sony CRT TV with HDMI.
the problem is that the games have problems in the shadows, some are dark, in others you see nothing, have to see something with rgb mode?
the CRT has no option other than to change the color of the gamma (options 2.4 or 2.6).
the PS3 I have in rgb limited.

Do you NEED an X370 board? All you get is shitty sli, more usb ports, and more sata connecters you won't use.
>>62193097
Anybody know what the CPU / GPU bottleneck is like in this build? I'm looking at something similar.
I was going to go for the b350 but its unavailable in aus so i stepped it up to the x370. Half for aesthetics reasons.

Absolutely horrendous OP
Not counting multi-chip set-ups. What is the single most powerful GPU of all?
Also not counting GPUs not released yet. Who knows what AMD and Nvidia have prototyped with low yields?

This, in terms of raw compute power not even the gtx titan xp touches it.

as someone with very little web design experience, is it worth it to hire someone to design my site or should I just try and do it on Squarespace myself?
proper web designers charge like $1000+ right? I can afford that but is it worth it?
Go with that site that has that hot slut telling you she built her website about shoes on it. Wikidix i think it's called.

I want to get an external gpu ... Anything that isn't too expensive and is relatively quiet ? I looked into 1050 ti but fuck me that's gotta be useless as an external gpu.

For what, gridcoin? Or are you just going to do it for free, wasting money on another gpu + the electricity?

So I've been downloading some games recently on my PC. On start up I got this "Program File" and I am worried if it's a virus. I might get AVG Premium in the future, but the only thing I got is Windows Defender. I did a full scan and nothing popped up. I can't get the location of that program file. I tried looking it up in regedit. Both in Local User and in Machine folders. All the program are known in the registry, and at this point I'm lost. Did you guys have similar problem. I hate to trash my computer.
>>62192954
Nope. I use linux. This never occurs. But if you want to delete it, signin under safe mode, and use the admin account, then follow the directory path and erase it. It may work...
Also install gentoo.
I'd be concerned about that, have you run malwarebytes at least? Install linux and never deal with this again.
Install Gentoo
I work at a computer repair shop.

We keep short term back-ups of our customers data. One customer was involved in a fairly high profile criminal case and we were ordered to turn over his backup

It is worth noting that there is a lot of porn that we don't go through and try not to put on our back-up
