>Apparently, new features were enabled on the latest RX Vega driver, which have also (indirectly) increased mining performance of Vega.
>I’m not a fan of sharing numbers I can’t verify, but we are looking at at least doubled Vega Frontier mining performance (which has a hash rate of ~30 MH/s).
News just in, Vega 56 unable to be bought for the next 2 years, Vega 64 only for the next half year.

This is it. We are witnessing the dumbest post in the history of mankind.
Just in time to lead the pack by miles when mining difficulty increases.

This thread is for the discussion of NyaaPantsu (pantsu.cat), a free (FOSS) torrent indexer, and other nyaa alternatives.
The aim of this project is to write a fully featured nyaa.se replacement in golang that anyone will be able to deploy locally or remotely.

>Why is Pantsu down/error 502?
Most likely because the team is deploying changes. Wait for a bit and refresh the page. It should be mostly stable now.

What kind of a loser would use a Nyaa clone that has ads?
Pantsudev, I hope you fucking ban that faggot kilo or at least QC his fucking PRs cause everything he fucking touches breaks. He's killing your site. Get rid of him. The site is even more unusable since hut on a stick after he came around.

He's also a rude piece of shit.
Then again he's only 18 (and already a NEET).
I wonder where it all went wrong for him.

>>61750967
I tried to use Thunderbird myself, ended up switching to Feedly which is web-based.. I know you asked for windows but, because I want the same feeds on my phone, they are pretty decent in my somewhat limited experience.. it's free but they do try to upsell you to the "pro" version to some extent depending on what you want, which seems to be geared towards journalists/analysts/social media pros much moreso than normies. No issues so far with the free version though like I say my experience is pretty limited, about 3 weeks of moderate use.

I mean, I think it's a 4. It was left over from an evicted homeowner. I plan on selling it once it's unlocked. Yadda yadda it's an old shit phone nobody wants but still, it's a phone.
Thanks in advance.

/g/ I want to put a music album on a mini CD.
What format/compression do I use to squeeze it to reduced capacity this medium offers?
Should I just use DVD and do 1:1 losless copy?
What can I expect?
>>61750020
First of all, why?
If you're trying to copy an audio CD onto it, it simply won't work. But, depending on the album, you could probably encode as MP3 and put the MP3 files on there. I doubt FLAC would work, and you might have to go lower than 320 kbps for the MP3s (again, depending on the album).
A mini DVD would give you more storage to work with, but, again, just copying an audio CD onto it won't work, it would have to be WAV/FLAC/MP3/etc. files.
It would also depend on what you want to play it back with. A computer will play anything, but if it's a car stereo system or something like they, they can be pretty damn picky.
>>61750242
Its a part of a gift.
It will be played back by a mini hifi system that reads mp3s, not sure about dvds though.
>>61750400
>What format/compression

You just answered your own question.
How retarded would it be for me to quit my job immediately after getting my CS degree, buying a home in the bay area, and start looking for jobs there?
>>61749782
Apply the last semester while you're studying, and write in no uncertain terms when you're graduating. Also be clear in communicating how long your exit period with your current employer is.
Trust me, the bosses will look at your application and think of you as a person who's a team player (you're not fucking over your current employer), and someone they can count on getting up in the morning and actually getting to work. (You have a job now.)
After graduating, if you haven't gotten a job, keep your job, and keep applying. Make a deal with your boss that you might need a day off here and there to interview, and that you'll work some of the shittier shifts to make up for it. Again, this makes your boss like you more. And you want your boss to like you, so that when the guys you're applying to call up your boss and ask him about you, he'll say nice things.

Sup /g/, long time old poster here. I recently came back from not visiting after some time and I am really curious...
What actually happened to this board? Every post I see here seems to be some tech illiterate agency marketing one product or another and datamining user input.
This place used to be for tech enthusiasts to discuss technology. What happened, and when?
To be honest the board should be divided into a shilling containment board (such as /ce/, as one anon said before) and other for real tech discussion. Sadly, this is the current state of /g/

How does one host a video stream? I want to stream some movies so my friends in other countries can watch them together. I've used Icecast for music before but how do I video??
I'm not sure about how to stream a video, but you can upload the movie on to Dailymotion (they don't take it off) and then go to watch2gether.com
From there, you can just put in the URL of the video, invite your friends to the room and watch
>>61749448
oh. that works too. I'll do that for now. Was hoping to do it on my own server for just the fun of it. Guess I'll keep lookin
