Natty.
*natty in this case means "not fucking natty at all"

Yes, as Jeff says, people who use roids are PATHETIC.
Hi /fit/
First time posting so dont redirect me with links and shit that relate to what im asking. Im after personal suggestions to help me not die.
I just started a job concreting which basically entails using sledgehammer and bar to break apart old footpaths and lay new ones down. For the last 5 years i have been a dump truck driver so im rather unfit and the work load at my new job is staggering to me.
Would pre workout supplement help me?
What can i take to keep up the pace for the next two weeks until i start getting conditioned to the work.
And what should i take to stop the cramps in my arms/fingers?
Long story short: what could i use to enhance my performance and decrease fatigue in the next few weeks until i am conditioned to hard work?
Also no steroids
>>34532716
Caffeine
>>34532726
This, also eat clean, an appropriate amount, and aim for a minimum 8 hours sleep every night. Stretch out cramped areas at the end of work.
No tricks, just healthy living.
>>34532716
Pre workout is basically caffeine plus a bunch of other shit that cranks you up. It'll burn you out in the long run, but what you might be able to do is use it for the days you work and then bring your tolerance down on your days off - you'll feel like shit while weaning yourself off, but you'll be able to perform during work.
My suggestion is to avoid it. Make sure you eat and hydrate enough during work. Eat plenty of complex carbs such as pasta and drink plenty of water, no sodas or sweetened drinks.
Avoid Tylenol or aspirin and aim for Aleve. The first two do more to suppress the pain. Aleve will actually reduce the inflammation in your joints and help recover from the fatigue by sleeping better.
Last part is to get at LEAST 8 hours of sleep. Your body isn't used to this level of work. You need extra sleep to help recover.
I would give it 1-3 months before you acclimate, depending on age/general fitness/discipline
What do you think about these post cardio meal
First day back on the grind 6.5ft no shoes 195.6 lb 23 year old
Burned 319/1000 calories
47 min exercise
hahaha this is a very prestigious meal in the mediterranean, women spend hours filling grape leaves with rice and meat, but make them only a finger's diameter. Then slow cooked with a chicken.
>>34532448
The turkish women make them best, OP. It is basicly rice with some spice filled in leave rolls. Taste very good.

wow, I have never seen that before, is this new? I am intrigued.
fuck off to /fa/ with this consumerist bullshit
>lifting for 3.5 years
>shit gains everywhere, twink ottermode mode
>people who have been lifting for 1 year look better and are stronger than me
>can barely tell I lift unless I'm shirtless or wearing a tight undershift
>13.5" biceps
>probably 9-10" forearms
>5.5" wrists
>124lbs
>max bench is 195
Fuck this shit. Maybe I just don't want it enough.

Dude, you have to take diet into account too. If you want more gain eat more protein. I use the shit from GNC and it works great. Other than that change up your routine, you won't see much gains if you do the same workout everyday.
Protein
If you want bigger maxes and muscles do bigger weights with less reps. With 195 bench you should be doing sets of 2 or 3 at 170 or higher. I'm assuming you must have pretty good muscular endurance so this shouldn't kill you. If you change up your workout and down protein like a glory hole cum slut you should be fine.

Hey /fit/
My diet's going well and I'm steadily losing fat all over my body. However, are there any other options regarding removing that fat layer over my abs?
I'm aware of supplements etc, but I've become intrigued of ultrasound cavitation.
Has anyone had any experiences with it? Does it work? Will I lose fat or waste my money?
>>34532180
There's a study somewhere that found that ketosis is more effective at removing lower abdominal fat than just caloric deficit with no macro changes.
On second thought, maybe it was IF, but I think it was keto. Maybe do both?
>>34532201
Thanks for the advice. I'll check for studies that suggest that. I did Keto for the first 4 weeks. Worked really well. Lost heaps of fat very quickly.
But at the moment I'm back to normal calorie deficit (which feels much better).

Check out Mike Chang. Guy is a beast.
How do you make muscle soreness go away? It's been 3 days and it hurts to move.
lift for more than two weeks
If it's DOMS (usually recognizable by the combination of stiffness and dull constant soreness) then massage (self massage works) and some of the hair of the dog that bit you (exercise again, it can really help).
Anti-inflammatories (Naproxen sodium/Aleve works best for me) can also dull the pain, but inflammation is part of the healing process, so don't take it unless you need to (like right before you're gonna work out again)
If it's something a little more serious, like a sprain, resting the muscle or tendon is most important. You may seriously look into getting a bandage of some kind to immobilize the joint the muscle in question works around.
>>34532054
enjoy them
Once you lose doms, you lose thinking that youre making gains
Will I ever be as big as my pump?
one day soon you may be as big as today's pump
but the bigger you get, the bigger your pump gets
will the grass ever be as green on this side of the fence as the other?
will it ever be tomorrow?
will your flacid dick ever be as big as your boner?
nope

It's like a vision of your future.
But that's it, it will always be a vision, it's a chance to see how you will look like if you keep going.
It's like a gift that keeps on giving.
Godspeed anon.

I could use some of your advice. I'll keep it short.
My goals when I reach success:
Open free public gyms across country.
Help people get strong
not have to worry about my money
you get paid to work out.
Right now, I am an Olympic Candidate to represent at the 2016 and 2020 games. I train full time doing greco-roman wrestling.
Olympics is an amateur sporting event, so we don't get paid shit. Wrestling has no money in it, so none their either. Sponsors hook me up with gear, but no money. I'm going broke.
Was pursuing my masters in Exercise Physiology before being recruited for olympic team. Moved to training center. Work part time as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. For some professional athletes at the olympic training center... and for some fat-asses. Pays.. ok. Problem is I cant make enough for ends meat or travel expenses when I am elected by TEAM USA to represent out of the country. In all honesty, I want to open a gym and just help people who really care reach their potential, as I am currently pursuing.
I need help trying to make my strength & conditioning System, website, business, social media, whatever successful. online or offline. I don't know where to start when it comes to creating business content. I just kind of mastermind at home in my basement and write programs, theory, etc..
If you can help me, I can help you. It's simple.
pic related, its me cooking meals for a client.

Maybe become a youtuber so you get noticed. I would workout in your gym!
Hey there, /fit/. I'm 19, 155 lbs. Been working out for four months. Any tips for a small guy that can speed up results? Not looking for a "get ripped in six weeks" scam, just some tips as to what I can do to get the most of my workouts and know that progress is being made.
I admit that my diet is not the greatest; I eat as much protein as I can but a full time job doesn't allow for that most of the time. However I intake very little sugar.
>Workouts normally consist of:
>5 min cardio
>incline dumbbell presses
>dumbbell curls
>pullups
>incline flies
I use heavy weights and low reps. Help me out, /fit/.

Yo /fit/ I'm finally getting serious about my body since I look like a fucking piece of shit and I'm tired of it. I've already cut soda and junk out of my diet and I'm gonna be going shopping tomorrow for not shit food. I'm already feeling better having that shit out of my diet. I got a long ways to go but I got this shit. I did want to ask though, what is a good body weight workout. I don't have a gym remotely close to me and I don't really have the cash to drop on weights but I'm going for weight loss though so I don't really know on this. Tips?

1) Read the sticky.
2) Stop being a pussy and go to the fucking gym. It's 2015. Your closest gym really truly isn't *that* far.
>>34531702
If you have a car you'll make it to a gym. Some of my friends go towns over to hit the gym.
>>34531714
Dude stfu this guy needs positive reinforcement not you being a hardass
hey /fit/ , honest question. Steroids aside, how do i get legs like zyzz, in particular the bottom quads? what are some good exercises for that? and should i do high volume or go for strength and low rep?
dont lift
squatz n oatz
>>34531553
Wtf are bottom quads
>mfw people eat cooked meat to get protein
>they don't realize this denatures the protein
Nice meme.
>>34531479
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denaturation_(biochemistry)
Read up for yourself, boyo. "Thus, because the human body cannot utilize denatured proteins, cooked food are largely useless sources of protein to the body."

I've got scoliosis, what should I do?
find your spirit animal mine is a horse
>>34531034
THis
>>34530998
i have scoliosis too and lifting has made it way better
as long as it's not severe to the point where it requires surgery, you can lift. just listen to your body and go up in weight slowly, don't lift anywhere near your max until you gain experience
hey /fit/, I need something like Couch 2 5K but more suited to my needs. I need to be able to run a 2K in 8 minutes by august next year.
how would I approach this?
run 2 k 3 times a day. I've been running for a couple of months now and I could do that. It's really not that big a goal.
>>34530938
3 times a week holy shit lol
>>34530938
I would start with the couch to 5k or couch to 10k program
After achieving the ability to run the long distance, I would then focus on finding a program to increase you speed
