If you're the sort of person who is 140lbs based on your normal eating habits, studies have shown you're likely a chronic over-estimator of calories. Aim for 4k and you might actually hit 3

I was 153kg five weeks ago (337lbs)

Dropped to 139kg currently.. was an amazing feeling seeing a '3' pop up on the scale today

Progress so far via calorie deficit, cutting out processed sugar and ~40-50 minutes cardio 4-5 a week (mostly elliptical)

I've also been taking L-Carnitine and Lecithin supplements

I still see a whole heap of fat burning products on the market.... Is there anything else worth taking?

Yes, I know that I am shilling myprotein.
But still.
£4.49 for 1000 servings.

And no fat burner has as much evidence as green tea for it's use.

I am using coffeine and green tea only. The rest isn't worth the money imo.

I want to eat healthy, but I'm an incredibly picky eater.
I eat microwavable/frozen food about 75% of the time, the only real healthy food I like is grilled chicken, but you can only eat the same thing so much.
I don't know what to do, I'm willing to try stuff, but I just can't stomach most things.
Somehow I'm only about 10lbs over weight according to my doctor, but I know in 5-10 years, my body won't be able to make things so easy for me and I need to step up.

Any advice?

Well shit /fit/, Its been 4 years since i was last here.

I remember the nights i would spend, same hour, studying for college with you guys keeping me company, motivating me every day to spend my lunch breaks pushing myself further then I had previously imagined, and you were there to share my success with, new PB's, progress and gains.

4 years later, I have had a pretty wild ride, dropped out of college that year, got addicted, got clean, died, revived, died again, lost my parents, worked hard, became wealthy, got my PT ticket (which is now my highest qualification) loved, lost and loved again.

So i find myself wondering, why did i come back? has anything changed? Keto, Roids, Squats and Oats are all still here, but then again no one ever liked them. The Idols, PUA, broscience and insecurities are all here too.

I told myself i came here for motivation, but this place in no longer motivating. The world changed in 4 years, but this place didn't. I think the real reason i came back is because having been out of my depth, its more comfortable to be shallow.

Think about it.
