Sup fit, told you guys 6 months ago that I would post today to show progress and I went nowhere. Basically I kept on being too aggressive with lifts and kept injuring my back and had to take breaks for it to heal. Nonetheless, here I am.

How important is a good night's sleep, fit? I have to get up at 5:45-ish every morning, so to get 8 hours like everyone seems to suggest I'd have to go to bed at 9:45, which honestly feels like I'd be wasting a good chunk of my evening. (I enjoy watching stuff on my phone as I fall asleep but that often keeps me up to at least 11.)

Is a lack of sleep really gonna result in nogainz and messed up metabolism, even though I feel fine upon waking up with my current schedule (no energy drinks, coffee, etc. necessary)?

if you can throw more weight up there, you can accomplish more volume.
this helps the muscles explode at a crazy fast rate.

doesn't take much longer than 18-24 months of hypertrophy work to near your maximum muscular potential anyways, if your training is optimum.

if you think 2-6 months is going to make or break your physique, you are retarded.

in the long-term, it is objectively the better decision.

Sup fit.

For the past few years, I've noticed a pattern in my feelings.

One week I feel on top of the world, I feel like I can do everything, feel happy, listen to happy music, flirt successfully with girls, enjoy every moment of my life, feel popular and fulfilled.

This usually lasts a week.

After that comes the dark week. I feel self-conscious, out of place, like I don't belong anywhere. I feel like people judge me and dislike my presence, I still flirt with girls but act more needy and so become unattractive. I question what's the point in living the life, listen to sad songs (Johnny Cash - Hurt being my favorite) and have suicidal thoughts. I feel like nobody will ever love me and I feel like an outcast/loner.

Right now I'm in this mood and it will probably last for another week or few days and after that the cycle will repeat.

Why the fuck does this happen to me? Are those just mood swings because of tfw no gf or am I bipolar?

Also, feels general.

Hey /fit/. So I love overhead press, however, it's the exercise i've injured myself the most on and it's always the same thing that happens, a rhomboid strain I believe. I'll be going along and i'll tweak something somehow and next thing you know I can't turn my neck without pain for like 3 days. I realize it's probably bad form but i was wondering if any of you knew how this particular injury happens when doing overhead press. Thanks

Hey /fit/, 18 y/o here

Constantly teased for my weight, 6'0 115lbs

My dad is a nutritionist and from what he told me (what foods were ideal etc) this is what I came up with for a mealplan, i.e. i'll eat the same things everyday:

Morning:

- Omelette with 5 eggs
- 1 bowl of 100g of Jordans nature
- 4 toasts with jam and butter
- 1 shake of 1L full milk, 1 tablespoon of PB, 1 scoop of ON chocolate whey, and 200g of oats

Lunch:

- 2 chicken breasts with 1 broccoli
- 2 yoghurts for desert (can't find greek yoghurt to save my life)
- 200g of pork

Dinner:

- Pizza
- Salad with chunks of lard
- 4 bananas
- Another shake

First, I don't think you'll be able to eat all that. Second, that seems boring as shit and if you can manage to eat it all you will want to change after a week. Third I'm pretty sure that's more than 4000 kcal.

Breakfast alone: 5 eggs is about 350 kcal without taking into consideration the oil used to fry them. 4 slices of white bread is roughly 100 kcal per slice so 400 plus jam and butter. The muesli is like 350 and the milk is about 600. Then your Pb and whey and oats in the shake I'm sure you're pushing half your daily calories already. The other meals are also enormous, I can't imagine eating that every day and I fucking love eating.

Even if you can manage to eat it all every day for months, you'll just get fat unless your taking PEds. Caloric surplus is needlessly high.

I haven't been on here in a while so maybe this is a new copy pasta but otherwise this will be totally unsustainable for you.
