Hey guys, have any of u tried stacking mr hyde with dr jekyll? I heard it gives an amazing workout, but what is the dosage? Any personal experiences?, it's because i'm definately going to pick up some hyde today but i'm not sure if buying jekyll too is worth it

sup /fit, I just moved in with my azn qt girlfriend two months ago and because we sleep in the same bed now I'm boning her at least once, sometimes twice a day, every day.

Lately, for the past 6 or so weeks, my strength has felt sapped, I haven't been able to add reps or weight at all. This is the hardest plateau I've ever hit, and changing up my routine isn't working. I've been through and fought through plateaus before but this one seems incredibly stubborn.

Is the sex possibly to blame? Before I moved in with her, we'd only fuck once-twice/week because of logistics. Also, other than when I was 14 and had just discovered my dick I have been a disciplined man who only wanked about 2-3 times/week max. I guess I've never ejaculated 10x/week like I do now, except when I first started jerking.

Maybe it's just coincidental timing, but I can't shake the feeling that this is the cause of my plateau...

Sooo /fit/.... tried to kill myself with some fast acting insulin.... took 10ml or 1000units. The fact the body does not work like that. You could literally squat your max every single day, so long as you took enough rest time in between sets, does that mean you'll grow? Nope. Your body needs the volume ALL in one small timely session. I've personally seen FAR better gains doing LOTS of sets targeting 1 muscle group once every 7 days, than I've seen cutting that volume up into 2 or 3 sessions over the course of a week and EVERYONE I personally know who looks like they actually lift do the same thing.

You're fucking dumb if you think doing 50% volume every 3.5 days twice a week will have better gains than 100% volume in over 7 days.

Anyway, I don't give a fuck what you do, I am not here to convince you to change your routine. I'm just here to tell you that you're fucking retarded.

Doing something like the following once a week:

>5x3-5 back squats
>5x3-5 stiff-leg deadlifts
>3x8-10 front squats
>3x12-15 leg press
>5x15-20 leg curls/leg extensions

Gave me HUGE changes in body-composition compared to just doing a small set amount of sets for 1 big movement multiple times a week.

At least for me personally, I've discovered (through actual real world trial and error) that lots of volume squeezed into 1 session over week, better than spreading all that volume up into multiple days over the week.

Recomp takes a long time, way longer when starting at/near obesity-level bf%.

I would think if you're just starting out that you would notice progress better if you did really big and fast cut and then when you got to ~15% just eat maintenance and lift.

Some people need to see the progress on their body to stay motivated.

Heard someone say in another thread that recomp was an advanced technique. Did they just mean in terms of requiring more discipline and being stricter about calories or did they mean it was a technique for advanced lifters? Like would you be better off finishing your novice program and getting all of your noob gains before starting recomp?
