a buddy of mine that's like 9% bodyfat told me that once you get lean, it's pretty hard to fuck it up unless you completely stop going to the gym and disregarding diet completely. He said the hardest part of getting lean is doing it for the first time, after that it's easy.

Hey guys, I have had some shoulder issues and I believe it all has stemmed from bad posture. So I decided I would work on my deadlift form again. I have been doing corrective deadlifts and I think I have finally started to get them down. I am trying to keep a complete neutral spine and it is tough to do but im proud of my progress. Here is today's video, just hit 95lbs.

The reasoning is so I can que myself to have great posture from the Top, like chest up shoulders down and back and all of that and start into the movement. It wont permantely be like this, but since I am not at a plate yet I figured I would continue this way. Another reason is because the 25's are so small that its further into the ground, and its just more convenient to get it from a rack and then go into the movement, but they arent rack pulls because its just how i grab it out of the rack. Also thank you for the advice

Better get used to pulling them from the floor anyway. If the plates are too small you can put a couple of plates under them to bring the bar up. Is what I used to do.

Also might not wanna pull these for reps of 10 once you get the form right (and it looks right enough). You could probably pull 1 plate easily for 5 reps or more. Trust me, I started off doing every compound for 10-rep sets (muh hypertrophy!) and later realized how much friggin' time I had been wasting. I started reaaaal low on the deads because I was afraid of messing up my form and back and did 10-rep sets. Then at some point I thought "how about I pull a single 225 lbs to see if I can" and sure enough, it was no problem. At that point I realized I had been fucking around and didn't know what an actual heavy deadlift really felt like. Could've been pulling way more by then.

I have:
Squat Rack (pic related), FID Bench, Lat Pull Down, Olympic EZ Curl Bar, Olympic 7ft 45lb bar, Standard Dumbbell Handles, Olympic Weights, and Standard Weights

ITT: post your home gym, swap exercises that can be done with minimal equipment, etc.

My question is, whenever my cable goes out on my lat pull down, where do I buy another one? Is there a company that does custom length, coated cables? I have no idea what brand the lat pull down is, as I bought it from someone off CL.

Squat rack similar to yours but has lat pulldown and pec fly station built into the back/top of it.

iron weights (2x45, 4x35, 2x25, 2x10, 4x5, 2x2.5)
adjustable dumbbells that go up to 105 lbs
gymnastic rings to do dips/pullups from

ab roller

I can hit every exercise i need which is nice now that i just got the dumbbells

Anyway, my thing is that every once in a while I'll develop a crush on another male at the gym.

I'm relatively good looking, in decent shape (working out for like a year), have a girlfriend, high paying job, and normal friends. None of them would ever know.

I'm afraid of the day when it happens and if he starts talking to me. I'll blush so obviously it's going to be gay as fuck senpai.

Anyone ever tried carb cycling while bulking? I have done it while cutting and it works awesome, but i am interested in knowing if it works the other way as well? any opinions?

I've also done it for cutting and don't see a reason why it wouldn't work for bulking. The only downside is eating all that food that tastes like sand. Bulking is supposed to be the "funnier times"

Basically what it does is that by cutting carbs your body is using fat cells as energy(why low carb diets work). Body gets used to that soon though so you have to load up on carbs every few days

im getting doubts about lifting
i have realised that the last reps are really uncomfortable to do. My arms are shaking, the weight goes up slower and slower, im constantly afraid of not getting the weight up
and all this for what? why cant i just lift comfy with like 4x8 or something for comfortable weight? i dont want to press my eyes out on the sixth rep of 75kg, this isnt fun to do and this is my free time, i shouldnt be doing things i dislike
