I'm already down from 420lbs a year ago but I've been very sick with asthma and non-stop globus sensation (tight throat) and I feel like I wanna die every second.

So, if I start cardio won't I just be taxing a heart that's already carried too much burden? I mean, I don't have any (diagnosed) heart problems yet, but if go ballistic into /fit/ life won't my fat shitty heart just pop like a grape?

Good effort losing weight, but you have another 90lbs to go if you want to start jogging.

Get a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day. That will keep the heart attacks from bay long enough for you to lose the weight. Don't forget it took you a lifetime to get to your weight, it's a slow process to undo the damage and not ruin your body by going too fast.

Okay so I think my left trap here is huge due to 8 years of driving with only my left arm.
I cannot think of any other reason why one side would be this much different looking and feeling than the other.

Thoughts? How can I make this muscle get smaller so I can be more flexible with that arm?

If you drive with your left arm, then I assume you are left handed (me too). You likely do everything with your left hand then. What can we say, other than do everything with your right hand and do DB shrugs with just the right side. Not rocket science.

It's not huge, you just don't have the same neuromuscular connections in the opposite shoulder, (because you don't use it enough) and consequently can't flex it as hard as your left trap.

Hi /fit/, I'm new. I'm going on a beach vacation in 2 weeks with friends. I don't have a gym membership and can only do body weight exercises at home. I have asthma so I can't run more than a mile at a time

You have a place called "Sprouts" in your area? They might just be a west coast thing. Anyways, if you shop there in the middle of the week you can pick up items on "manager special" in the meat department with huge discounts. Chicken bratwurst for two dollars per pound which comes out to like 75 cents per bratwurst.

You have to do a shit ton of food shopping at Costco to make the 60 dollar per year membership pay itself off. However, dem 1.50 hot dogs with a drink... (and like 1,000 plus calories....)

/fit/ can you tell me a good routine for wrestler/grappler, oriented around power/explosive strength instead of increasing brute strength.

I've tried the 5 x 5s but squatting/deadlifting 3x a week ended up leaving me too drained (i train BJJ 3-4 times a week 2-3 hours each sesh)

Idgaf really about mass gain infact i'd like to keep it to a minimum as i'm already pretty short for my weight class.
