>Hey guise, I'm going to start running tomorrow (honest :D) how do I run?

I bet you can't run for shit. Start out with what you can do and go from there stupid.

If I tell you to run 10km 4 times a week, would you do it? NO
>>
>>37495580
You're gonna need to build up to it if you've never done cardio before. The way I did it was running as much as I could then measuring how far I'd gotten without stopping with landmarks, then push myself to keep going further, little by little. If you do too much with an unconditioned body you're gonna fuck your shit up. Doesn't take too much to lose weight though, a km a day and not stuffing your face would suffice, especially since you're not overweight.

Okay /fit/ question time.

Would you prefer to have a body with god tier aesthetics, but be averagely strong?

Or would you prefer to be incredibly strong with just an average looking body?

Pic semi-related

I lift and fight and both CAN come hand-in-hand

however If you have to chose:
Being fit is an everyday benefit but being strong can make a big difference at several occasion

You'll be mired for being aesthetic all day long but If you can show your strength on a certain occasion you'll get tons of mires as well.
>>
>>37495469
Is this even a question? God tier aesthetics... no question about it.
>>
I gotta be honest, when I see a lot of these "strongmen" types that can deadlift 300 lbs or whatever, they usually just look fat. My uncle was like that and died in his fifties from heart complications.

If the goal is just to be strong for it's own sake, you've been born into the wrong time period. It serves no real purpose, and even if you were in the military you wouldn't be in ideal shape for combat or drills (which rely on endurance).

The whole reason I lift is to increase my overall health and longevity. I look in the process, but I'm not trying to end up like Hulk Hogan because those guys have all sorts of fucked up health problems when they get older.

Dude I am 6'1'' and I eat at least 4000 calories every day. You have trouble with just 3.3k and that is barely enough.

Here is a pro tip: eat energy dense foods, such as nuts. At the very least a handful of nuts 3 times a day inbetween meals. Don't worry about the fats, nuts only have the good fats that will help your body perform better. Bananas aren't bad but they tast like puke after a couple, so try some other fruits or sports drinks instead. A pizza every 2nd day doesn't hurt either. Just make it a BBQ chicken pizza without cheese and you are good.

It might take a while before you see results, so I recommend following the 4k calories diet for at least half a year, but then you will be beastly and left humanity behind.
>>
>>37495405

Why are you cutting out dairy if you are gaining weight? Milk takes a baby calf and turns it into a 1,500 lb cow in 15 months. Your not a cow but the calorie rich food known as dairy will damn sure get you gains.
>>
>>37496546
I'm doing an eliminative diet to try and help with my condition. Trying to find the culprit and it's probably milk. Condition has gotten worse since trying to make gains and trying to make gains = more whole milk for me.

What would I workout to improve the inner elbow area?

I'm a skelly but have been lifting for about 4 months now, but that bone still sticks out and it bugs the shit out of me, would I have to workout triceps to fill that in? Or is it more specific than that?
>>
>>37495018
Doesn't matter all that much. In fact it's usually best to vary your rep range and number of sets over time.

What matters is progression. Get your numbers up. Of course it happens a good deal slower than on the big compounds, but it has to happen nevertheless.

Also, be prepared to add some bodyweight. You'll never build 20 inch arms on a 135 lbs frame.
>>
>>37495053
More brachialis work might do the trick. It takes a long time to get some good development there though.
To work the brachialis, include more reverse curls and hammer curls, and in general focus on squeezing your elbow flexors as hard as possible when you do curls i.e. try to make as little space between your forearm and upper arm as you can.

Currently powerliftermode at 20-25%bf. I'm running candito, and am happy with my numbers, but want to lose some fat (not necessarily weight). What's the best diet/workout program to maintain strength, but lower bodyfat.

If you want to lose fat you'll lose some strength

I hear people say this all the time at the gym. People complaining about how it's so difficult to eat 3000 calories. Complaining about meal prep. Complaining about their diets.

How is eating hard? I don't understand.

they don't eat 3000 calories worth of fast food and soda. It's 3000 calories of oat meal, chicken, rice and broccoli.

I do lowbar since it helped me fix my hip flexor 'injury'. But I also do front squats a lot because lowbar works the outer quads a lot but almost nothing on the inner quads.

Besides front squats is way more fun imo
