my left wrist hurts as if i had RSI from last week. i was only able to work out once due to work
(back on my regular routine of 5 times a week).
but when i try to curl normally with one hand (or even lift anything that has a flat surface) my wrist just aches on the left side of the wrist on my left arm. i think i may have fucked up on the form with Forearm Dumbell Curls
to keep it safe i bench press with my warmup weight of 40kg and pump out 10x10 (normally i do 6x5 50kg) and do curls with the 10kg (maybe 15kg>)
will my wrist heal? will i have RSI forever? i work as a cleanup boy at a butchers (after work, it feels pretty good with less pain from washing up)
help me out /fit/
>>37638205
Mike (The holy king of /fit/) Patton used to heal up pretty fast because he would sprint into the ocean and catch fish. The body reacts extremely positively to the mixture of HIIT immediately followed by protein.
Does this answer your question?
>>37638290
Yes, acrually. Thanks so much for your help kind sir.
>>37638290
thats.... uh great advice there, anon
Which burns more calories?
I've found numerous websites that indicate one or the other.
Thought I'd ask you fine /fit/ gents for your input. I'd trust you more than skinnifat/dyel bloggers.
>>37638152
Like all cardio, it depends on intensity and time. If I had to choose I would go with swimming because running sucks ass.
Swimming. You need full body motion in addition to steady breath control, plus being submerged in cold water requires a metabolic output to maintain your body temperature.
Also, swimming is much less damaging to your joints. Literally the only reason people run more than swim is because of a lack of availability.
>>37638152
Mike_KingOf/fit/_Patton used to do both - hence the incredible physique haha xD - he would tie weights to himself and swim as long as he could, then he would run back to shore underwater.
Is being a manlet actually that bad? I think most of /fit/ exaggerates the importance of height. I'm 5'9" and I get laid just as much, if not more, than any of my tall friends do.
>>37638001
>I think most of /fit/ exaggerates the importance of height
Gee... you think?
what next, you'll go to /r9k/ to learn about what women REALLY want and understand social concepts?
>>37638001
That "short" guy in your picture is a lot cuter than the tall guy.
How bad is my lack of chin guys do i look grotesque ? What kind of suergery should i get if so ?
>>37637930
Disgusting.

Would getting to single digits bf help ?
Rihnoplasty+jaw implants are your way out of ugliness op
Who would you rather look like if you could either be:
A. Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime day
B. Dolph Lundgren in his prime day
Well /fit/?
I'd want to look more like lundgren, Arnold it great but his chest was so puffed he looked like a caricature
>>37637926
Arnold was a bb with really good genetics. Dolph - not so much. So that's a stupid question. If you asked which brain I would prefer to have - of course Dolph's
>>37638383
What's the deal about Lundgren and his brain. I've heard it before that he is supposedly a genius. But the only information that I can find is that he has a master's degree in chemical engineering. That is admirable but not very extraordinary.
>tfw you realize Arnold was weak as fuck compared to today's bodybuilders
Yeah but it wasnt about strength? It was about creating an aesthetic physique which has been completely lost in todays world
>>37637927
Arnold was perfection, he was not human. He was litrelly a Greek god and cheated life.
I wouldn't choose to be as strong as today's BBers if I had to look like them, roid guts and palumboism and all.

How many dips can you do?
How many chin ups can you do?
I can do 15 BW dips
6 with 20 kg added
16 BW chin ups
5 with 35 kg added
80kg bw
my shoulders are shit
18 dips
16 chins
dont laugh but i can literally do more bodyweight chinups than bodyweight dips
and now im not a skele, im 5'7 185lbs, i do weighted chinups 3 times a week, but dips vary 1-3 times a week (i mostly do flat bench and push press instead of dips)

Ultimate /fit/ question - you're a fat fuck who has just started lifting. Do you:
a) Lose weight first so your form and stamina are in better shape and THEN build muscle; or
b) Build muscle first using your fatfuck strength and THEN lose the weight
>>37637609
b, easier cut later on
>>37637609
You eat a shitload of protein and start with a 500 defecit cut (with most of your diet being protein)
You will build muscle as despite being on a cut because noob gains + excess fat to burn
>>37637609
You have a noob gain period where you can get both by just lifting, eating healthier and exercising. Try lifting with a deficits diet and plenty of cardio for at least a year, your body fat should be able to sustain your progress for a long time. After a year you can make the decision to either cut hard or focus more on strength.
It has been 2 weeks since I last lost weight, and as a matter of fact went up 600 grams (1 pound) today.
Food intake and exercise has been monitored., noting has changed.
Total to this date I have lost 68 kg (150 pounds) been doing it for a year already.
I swim for cardio 1hr errday.
Taking 1 or 2 days rest. depending on how tired I feel.
Took some caffeine gum (100 mg) to help me with motivation since after a year of continuous cardio, i find it boring as fuck and I can't stand it without having the high I get from it.
I have been doing the caffeine for about 2 weeks already, so maybe it has something to do with it.
I don't do lifting as I get anxious the weight scale will indicate more weight cuz of water retention cuz i get swollen. not swole.
What is /fit/s best way to break weight loss plateaus?
I read in some article online that lifting might help increase metabolism because more muscle means more metabolism, more lactic acid or some shit like that.
Fucken desperate m8s, 83kg (183pounds) 5'11 manlet and I still have that fucking flabby gut.
I will continue doing cardio and just wait it out, but in case you guys know of something that will break it, let me know
fuggggggggggggggggggg
Are you sleeping 8 hours per day?
>>37637603
7 hours roughly, I can't sleep any longer than that. I just wake up right after 7 and feel like just getting out of bed.
Should I force myself to go back and sleep that extra hour?
brb, going swimming
pls lads, let me know if you've had anything similar.
what's the longest time you've been on a plateau?
What does /fit/ think of Buff Dudes?
i think you should stop shilling them
>>37637568
They're pretty buff
>uglier AND worse ab genetics
that would suck
THE GOLDEN SIX ROUTINE
>Barbell Squat 4Sets 10Reps
>Wide Grip Barbell Bench Press 3Sets 10Reps
>Chin Up 3Sets to failure
>Behind The Neck Overhead Press 4sets 10Reps
>Barbell Curl 3Sets 10Reps
>Bent Knee Sit Up 3-4 Failure
>Arnold recommended performing this routine 3 times per week on alternating days for a 3 month cycle.
Progression
>Once you can do 2/3 reps above the recommended amount increase the weight.
Strive to progress wherever possible.
Rest
>Rest for 2 minutes between sets of squats and no more than 90 seconds for the other exercises.
Exercise advice
>For Arnold’s comments on each exercise, have a read of this article.
>This classic 1950s-1960s style full-body workout is an ideal routine for beginners and ectomorphs looking to bulk up.
These kind of routines – in the vein of Reg Park, John McCallum, Peary Rader etc – are massively underappreciated these days, which is a shame, because although they’re not fashionable or mainstream any more, they are the perfect way to lay the foundation for a well balanced, muscular physique.
Get in, blitz everything, get out, eat, rest, repeat.
It’s as simple as that.
This routine is literall perfection
Thoughts ?

Is there any hope?
You are a single white male (I assume) who works out frequently enough to be considered attractive. Give yourself a break, surround yourself with friends and get drunk and go smash something new.
You will feel better afterwords.
woah a whole 2 months without female contact!!!!!!!11111111111111111111111111111111111111111 HOW DO YOU SURVIVE? LOL
t. 28 year old KV never come close to getting a GF literally haven't spoken to female in a social situation outside of school.
>>37637277
This happened to me recently. And my honest motivation, as cringy as it might sound, is to become the strongest and best human being I can be. Physically. Mentally. Even spiritually. So if ever those people who fucked me over saw me again, they'd be in awe at what I had become. Life will throw shit at you and that won't change. But what will change, if you're willing, is you. Become bigger. Stronger. Tougher. Bear the burden others can't. And for the love God, never say you can't. Because you can, you faggot.
so i've been using pic related but i can't feel anything... i've already gone more than 2 scoops but on an empty stomach i might have a slight rush for about 15 min and then it's gone. should i do 3 full scoops?
Cycle off for a bit then hop back on. If you can schedule the start into a rest day or a joint recovery week, thats probably optimal.
>>37637304
but what i meant is i've never felt any big difference, not even when i first started.
anyone have recommendations??
