I get mixed messages on whether it's ok to have them or not. Do you guys have them? How many days? What meals?

I'm trying to lose weight.

I've had maybe two cheat days since I started dieting in December.

If you're weak willed, or not losing weight after a month, avoid them I feel.

the second is physiological and the goal here is to try to avoid the fucked up hormone levels you get after long term dieting. lyle mcdonald has written a lot about this, but as I understand it you need more than a single day for this to happen. you have to take several days break where you eat more or less normally.

either way you have to be honest with yourself here. if you eat too much your diet will fail and you have noone to blame but yourself. on the other hand, if you're able to use cheat days to reach your goals then there's nothing wrong with them.

cheatmeals once or twice per week, mostly burger/pizza on weekend when im out with friends. usually have a 500 calories deficit per day, that makes 3500 cals/ a week minus 1000 for the cheatmeals, so i'm still on a 2500 cal deficit/week. without them i would get bored of oats plus it's shitty to go out and not eat anything with friends

I'm getting very annoyed with all the fat shaming threads as of lately, every day there is a new one with over 300 replies.
What bothers me isn't you laughing at fat people, I suppose it's just human nature to look down on others to make yourself feel better.
What bothers me is the sheer ignorance you display.

Genetics do factor in when it comes to obesity, A LOT.
You morons are either:
1) too dense to comprehend this or
2) simply will not accept scientific truth when it goes against your beliefs.
But you will straight out of the bat accept statements such as "ARNOLD HAD GREAT GENES FOR BUILDING MUSCLE", yet with obesity obviously it's 100% the fatties fault.

demonstrated between 0.4 and 0.8 GENETIC heritability of obesity.

Is it possible to go from 330 to 200 by June of next year? I need to gain as much muscle as possible and stamina to last long sessions in a seat in extreme weather.

I'm not asking how to workout, I just want to know the possibility of such a transition. Reason is I plan to begin automotive racing for an ameture league, and as of right now I'm a fat shit, but not a sloth, I bust my ads working on cars each day, but eat like shit for dinner which is my only meal, which usually consist of two burgers and a large coke and fries, typical fatty shit. I plan to follow the wiki, just has anyone done this here before? BTW I'm 6'1 330, even weight distribution.

Daily routine thread?

>wake up at 9pm
>shower
>eat breakfast
>get dressed
>leave for work
>work
>eat lunch around 4 am
>work more
>get off work around 8
>drive to gym and drink protein shake
>workout for an hour
>head home
>make dinner
>eat dinner and watch Anime until about 1pm
>go to sleep
>rinse and repeat
>if it's my day off I workout in the middle of the night and then usually get some shopping done afterwards because nobody will be there
>if it's my rest day I watch an extra hour and a half of Anime
>if it's both my rest day and day off I don't really know what to do with myself

Any of you anons try supplementing pic related? It apparently helps with weight loss, but the study done on it had a small test group so the results aren't too solid.

I know my HR manager at my last job was a bodybuilder and would literally just snack on eggs with cinnamon on them when he was trying to cut for a contest.

It seems like a meme, but I bought some and figured I'd give a shot.

Anyone fighting addiction of any kind with lifting?

Does it work?

Asking because can't stop playing vidya and the only thing that interests me other than that is lifting.

Anyone with more serious problems like booze or drugs fighting it with lifting? Does it help?
