I... just don't have the drive to work out. I played sports all through high school in Texas. I played rugby in college. Went to the military. And now.... I have no drive to work out. None. I go to the gym for a week, two, three. But there is no drive and I quit. I've had my testosterone tested. It's a little low, but within normal range.
I just don't have the passion. I'm 31 now. But I haven't had the drive in years..... What do? How do I start working out 3-4x a week? For the past three years I've been on and off, but never stick with it. I just don't...care? He...Help me /fit/.

You kinda have to find your own motivation to stick to it. I found that when I immersed myself in videos about lifting (specifically form vids but I don't think it matters), I was more inclined to wana workout more.

Just aim for atleast twice a week. By the time it becomes something you look forward to you can up the amount of days from there.

I should probably try that. 1-2 days a week for a while, I think getting into it like I used to may be the problem. 3-4 times a week when you're a full on adult makes it a chore, not just something to do real quick.

Just started to lift/cut about a month ago. Not super strict, eating 500-1000 calories less but it depends, thanksgiving I ate a lot more. Today im starting to get more serious.

I posted this on /fa/ as well as I'm not really sure where it fits better.

Im what I'd consider a good looking guy, 6"1, broad shoulders, young looking face with slightly stronger looking face bones and a healthy body weight. I've never really taken care of my body, hair, or skin as I just got lucky naturally, but I feel if I start taking those steps I could try and get into modelling (seems like a pretty decent and reliable income for a male). However I have no clue where to start to start getting myself to look good reliably (skin care/hair care/white teeth) you guys definitely help for the body part though.

Even if you are a 9/10, there's tons of chads competing for the same job as you. supply and demand, means only the top 0.1% have stable income. The same as in acting. Serious question, how do people let themselves end up fat?

Like don't they think at a certain point they should tone it down on the junk food? I just can't imagine what being fat feels like.

I went from skeleton to big, so I can't say I know how it feels to be fat. Does it feel like there is a lot of weight on you keeping you grounded?

i love bodybulding because it gives me a purpose in life so strive for something greater. its some thing psychological. lol im such a nerd. srsly though. i work out because i wanna be fit i work out for the confidence i work out to be a man every woman wants and every man wants to be. its all about dedication and commitment thats what separates the men from the girly men. i love working out but i also like to relax and party every now and then. no one likes a square they're creepy and stuff. i hate when im at the gym and i see some creep who thinks he can ever be on my level. i almost feel sorry for the poor guy then i remember that if he doesnt want to be such an ugly loser he shouldve gotten better genetics. my advice if you wanna get big is setting a goal for yourself. never accept failure and protein protein protein lol. none of that soy protein though. my friend told me it gives you estrogen. im living life to the fullest. yolo!
