newfag here. When doing curls, I started to notice a pain in my forearm. It doesn't matter how much weight I use or if I use a dumbbell, a straight bar or an EZ curl bar, it still hurts.
Am I genetically fucked? And more important, what are some alternative excercises for my byceps? I'm training at home and can't do chinups. Equipment I have: straight curl bar, EZ curl bar, dumbbells, bench.

It's been about 5 years since I was in "peak" shape, but even then I never really got big per se. I'd like to get in better shape and get 'mired again. I've always been pretty skinny (160lbs rn) and I'm fairly short (5'10).
I've been working out almost every day for three months or so and started taking creatine about two months ago.
Should I be doing anything else to get back into shape? What would be a realistic timeline to have dem pretty muscles?
