I used to think hormones did not affect weight until I started taking the pill. I've always counted my calories to stay at my ideal weight, then I started taking a contraceptive pill 3 months ago and I gained 5 kg since with no change to my diet or exercise (I do cardio 4 times a week)

Ok. I'm 5'9 and 130 pounds. I'm 16. I exercise my core a lot and lift. My maxes on the lifts I regularly do are as follows

Bench: 150
Incline Bench: 130
Cleans: 140
Squat: 190

This is a picture of my laughable upper body

20m here, started getting a odd bald spot directly on top of my head.

Went to the doctor today and he said it doesn't look like Male Pattern Baldness considering the rest of my hair looks pretty normal.

I've lost 70lbs in 9 months and my diet has been the same 4 food items for months.

Chicken, greek yogurts, Parmesan cheese and fiber bars.

I looked at my diet and I'm getting almost zero iron.

Is my diet retarded, is this normal, how do I fix this?

It's super rare for men to be low in iron since they don't lose blood and most people are in excess which makes blood giving healthy.

Anyway get a lab test before taking an iron supp to see if you're actually low. Also your prob seems like you don't eat enough.

Hey /fit/, how do you manage your social life when getting more serious about lifting? For example, I had a killer lift today. One of my friends is back in town, and my friend group is planning on going out. I know that if I get drunk, not only will it kill the gains I made today, but it'll also mean I probably won't lift tomorrow (as well as most likely messing up my diet). How do you guys deal with this? Should I go out and just not drink? I don't want to just sit in my room again tonight.

Accordig to /fit/, what is the best exercise for:

With the best exercise, I mean the one that works that muscle the most, and its the best at increasing the strength and size of said muscle.

Imo the back is too big to categorize under one single lift.
Like DL hits tons of lower back and spinal erector, but not as much lats as rows or chin ups.
Also a lot of the single best lifts for each individual lift might be isolations, which aren't necessarily the best lift for your routine as a whole.
