Why the FUCK are 1.25lb olympic plates more expensive than 25lb ones?
Tell me where to get them cheap, NOW.

because they're niche and dumb. 1.25 lbs? just use some fuckin heavy duty magnets or a small length of chain.
Someone on here suggested wrapping a 2.5lb ankle weight around the center of the bar instead. Seems like a good idea.
I put a 2.5 on one side and shift my grip like a little less than finger width laterally.

Because they know only retards are going to buy 1.25 lb plates so they price it appropriately

Yes I'm a retard for maxing out and needing to do smaller increments on my weakest lifts ok

Buy flat washers with 2" holes from a hardware store. That's what I did. Weighs ~0.625 lb each, so a pair would be 1.25 lb give or take.

This is....actually good advice.
/fit/ has finally done something good.
Just put an extra pair of clips on the bar

Put a beehive in the weight room.
When you want more weight, add honey to the ends of the barbell. To remove weight, simply eat the bees.
