How the fuck do I maintain good posture while reading?
Holding a heavy book up to eye level for extended periods of time is ridiculous and ruins the immersion, but otherwise I'm craning my neck to read in my lap
/fitlit/ thread?
>>41905467
Might as well
Anone here read Zenos works?
I have dumbbells but no bench.
are there any good exercises I can do to really target my chest?
flyes and triangle pushups
>>41905377
can you do flyes on the floor?
I've done it before but I never feel like I'm getting full range of motion. I'm pretty novice at all this stuff, only been getting serious about working for about 5 months now, I'm just cautious about fucking up with improper form.
My measurements keep getting bigger like my arm for example which has grown over an inch, but the weight on the scale is getting lower. I was at 67.7 kg with 12.75 in. bicep and now I'm 63 with 13.25 in. bicep. My bf is probably the same but last time I checked a few months ago it was 13%. I love that I'm getting bigger, but is there any reason for this because I can still see my abs etc. I do look more defined everywhere though.

>>41905541
I'm 6 foot tall
How much cardio do you do and what type? Also general cardio discussion thread
Currently i do 30 mins on the exercise bike after weights
7-8 mph for 5 minutes as my warmup for lifting. 30 min 5ks on random off days to clear my head/ get me pumped, and 30 min jump rope sessions whenever it's raining out or I just feel like staying inside. Been thinking about adding some sprints to my routine. How is biking? Does it get your HR up as well as running? Was thinking about using it to replace my 5ks because I hear it's better for the knees
>>41905221
30 min 5ks?! You walking them or something?
>>41905963
Haha nah, I just like a comfy jog on my off days. If I try it's more like 25 mins
Man I woke up today and I feel so fucking good and my whole body is screaming for heavy lifting.
Can we have a positive feels thread with some motivation on top?
> he's counting calories
>he's not fasting
Counting calories is easy. Even you should be able to considering your number of days being a virgin is twice as high than the amount of colories you consume per day.
> lifting works lads...
It's true, Chad Nationalism is how white men will get normie white women to submit.

>cut some fat
>lower abs gut finally got bit smaller
>end cut and decide to maintain/recomp
>3 months in
>5 lbs heavier
>abs already faded away
>mini lower abs gut came back
why even live?
Basically when you eat below your maintenance for prolonged time, your body enters what is called homeostase so your TDEE drops signficantly
>>41904891
This is not true. The smaller you get the more it drops but you can eat at a deficit for as long as you want
>>41904891
wait so your tdee drop when you lose weight?
just realized no mater how I stand the right side of my lower back is always flexed while my left side is relaxed. wtf is this and how do I fix it?
>>41904523

Why is Feel so popular?

>It is the position of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that appropriately planned vegetarian, including vegan, diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and may provide health benefits for the prevention and treatment of certain diseases.
Given that "vegan diet" isn't very descriptive and doesn't necessarily mean healthy, a reasonable vegan diet based on a variety of whole foods is recognized as a healthy diet. Denying that because vegans piss you off is like saying the mediterranean diet is shit because the Italian barber you pass by on the way to work is rude to you.
Does it honestly matter if someone is vegan or not? You can still eat like shit regardless of what diet a person abides too
>>41904372
>this
Veganism and vegan diets are just treated as a punching bag on this board because mocking it is the easiest way to justify not thinking about it. Vegan general threads are just bait threads at this point.
Do you work out abs? I was told squats and deadlifts would keep your core decent but does it work abs too?
>>41904275
my only fucking thing that i should have done is first kiss and ive already fucked that up, oh well, i better have a full time job by my next birthday
>>41904275
Depends. Some people can have decent abs without ab work, others can't. If you're lifting decently heavy and sporting a low body fat % and still can't see ab definition you want, add ab work to your routine.
Your picture is crap but in my opinion you should incorporate some ab exercise where your core is actually in motion/twisting instead of just static strength.
