Any recommendations for accessory work?
Feel like doing pull-downs/rows/curls etc. to try and build my arms.
Hi /Fit/ I'm doing a cut right now but I have some questions.
Ill have to start some really intense studying sessions from now on and I don't want to mess with my performance .
>How many carbs for studying and 4 days a week gym sessions should I need aprox?. I am 6ft and 205lb tryin to go to 12% bf.
Also
>Would it be better to eat a little more and do more cardio or reduce my total amount of calories and keep it the same as rn? . I'm all about brain performance
Thanks bros. We are all gonna make it
i'd say cut at 250-300 kcal below maintenance. do something like 50/30/20% carbs/protein/fat.
I'd also say do cardio. Factor that into your maintenance calories and adjust your diet accordingly. This is anecdotal, but cardio helps me focus (this may be placebo?)

Maybe placebo I don't really know. Maybe it just make you relaxed.
Thanks for the tips

gotchu fampai. good luck with the cut and the studying. we're all gonna make it.
Hey guys, I need some advice. I'm 6'2, 140 lbs and I want to get into lifting to pack on some muscle. I don't know whether to go with regular strength training or to do a circuit?
My bf told me curcuits are bullshit and to just stick to one excercise until you're through with it, but I'm not so sure though.
Also, if I'm looking to put on some weight, is there a point to doing cardio?

Physical strength is the most important thing in life. This is true whether we want it to be or not. As humanity has developed throughout history, physical strength has become less critical to our daily existence, but no less important to our lives. Our strength, more than any other thing we possess, still determines the quality and the quantity of our time here in these bodies. Whereas previously our physical strength determined how much food we ate and how warm and dry we stayed, it now merely determines how well we function in these new surroundings we have crafted for ourselves as our culture has accumulated. But we are still animals – our physical existence is, in the final analysis, the only one that actually matters. A weak man is not as happy as that same man would be if he were strong. This reality is offensive to some people who would like the intellectual or spiritual to take precedence. It is instructive to see what happens to these very people as their squat strength goes up.

Has anyone felt an emotional and physical connection while working out that helped you or motivated you? I had this experience today
>Girlfriend cheated on me and broke up with me about three weeks ago
>Cheated on me with a close mutual friend, they're now together
>Normal day at gym today, felt pretty absent minded from all the shit happening in my life at the moment
>During a break in between sets I check my snapchat
>See a story with my ex involved, nothing major, just her existing and seeming to be having a great time
>Sudden rage hits me like a ton of bricks
>Immediately pump out my next set with tons of intensity
>Can feel my frown on my face, my teeth grinned, trying to resist saying "fuck you" to myself
>Was struggling with the weight before but during that set I did it with zero trouble
>Rest of the gym session I felt very emotional and angry
>Felt like there wasn't enough weight in the gym to lift from that point on
It was a very odd experience, but now I just want it to be tomorrow so I can go back to the gym and work out again. Anyone an experience similar?
>>42737239
>go on date with a girl who is into me according to mutual friends
>stops talking to me after date
>realize my personality must be boring as shit
>can't improve my personality so all I can do is try to get fucking huge
Yeah big part of my motivation currently.
>>42737270
I also wonder if I have this problem. I've been cheated on twice, and girls always hang around me for like a week or two, getting close, and then they'll ghost me or stops being romantic in any way with me
I'd consider myself attractive, but looks can only take you so far
> The greatest way to gain strength is not through lifting but through a kiss from a girl.
How do I kiss a girl?
Do you think I'm too skinny?
>>42737177
yes, way too skinny
>>42737177
Skinny and gay.
