After yesterdays leg day my fibula (pic rel) kinda hurts. It's not bad when just walking, even squating is ok. But when i try to squat ATG (with no weights) it;s starts to hurt extremely. If i stay in this positions the pain goes away, but if i try to stand up it comes back. I've no idea if it's muscles, bone or maybe tendons. Anyone have any idea what this might be ?
>inb4 go to a doctor
If i would've went to doctor everytime something hurts i would be penniless right now.
Worst case scenario it's a stress fracture to the fibula, but most likely it's a muscle/tendon strain somewhere around your fibula.
As it only started yesterday, engage in RICE for the next 3-4 days and see if the pain goes away. Probably doctor time in a week or 2 if it's still there.

Thank m8. It's nice to get some feedback. Appriciate it :)
I'm sick of barbells. I really enjoy using kettlebells.
I've just started, I only have a 35 lbs KB so far. I've been doing Simple and Sinister, but I'm looking for more exercises to add.
Should I do some clean and jerks? shoulder press? bench press? Halp.
How do I fix myself lads?

Build some muscle and lose the fat. That simple.
And stop with the bad genetics shit. I thought I had bad genetics until I tried lifting seriously for 5 years. Just took some time and hard work to get a good body

This scares the shit out of me.
I always hear about the manlet pit and as a short guy it really fucks with me, im even stalling on some lifts thanks to it. Sometimes I dont even have the time to throw the bar down mid-set and stand on top of something quickly to look normal when people are passing by, so someone has probably noticed my height. All the other short guys dissapeared over time and everyone is looking at me with a more weird expression every week, I think I might be the next.
How should I even prepare for the pit. Jesus christ im so fucked.
I'm currently at 13/14% body fat percentage.
I do lower this to around 10/9% without losing most of my muscle mass ( witch is not that much of amount )
>inb4 ready the sticky fgt kys
I never noticed the lower body fat percentage you get the shinier you get

Not really such thing as "bodytype" unless you mean as in how fit you are etc. You can have a barrel chest and then you are a guy with a barrel chest. You can have large hips then you're a guy with large hips. There are to many combinations to put bodies into "groups"

Do you heat your food in the microwave /fit/?
There seems to be a ton of recent studies linking it to cancer, and even decreasing the nutrients on foods... What's your take on that?
Yo fit. Trying to get back into lifting, I've only had a few months of experience with a bar then quit for a while. My new apartment complex has a gym but it only has dumbells and machines. Is there a way for me to get a proper workout without a bar? Or is there some alternative or adaptation of Stronglifts 5x5 or any other beginner program that would work well?
>>42731819
Just bring your own barbell to the gym
>>42731977
lol i would if I had one. In fact if I had a barbell I wouldn't even go to the gym.

/fitl/let here (before you ask, yes I read the sticky)
How do you know when you're ready to transition to a heavier weight?
I've recently started with a 20 pound weight for both arms curling inward and bent-over lifting. I'm currently doing 10 sets of 10 reps on each arm for both inward and bent-over lifting (so 400 total reps which takes about 30-40 minutes), and I've only been lifting for a few days. My right arm is significantly stronger than my left arm so only my left arm feels strain after I lift.
I should also mention that I weigh 207 pounds and I'm dieting at 1500 calories per day (mostly protein and carbs) and I've been dieting for a couple weeks now (but I've only just started lifting). I live on a large college campus and I usually get lots of cardio carrying around a backpack of books up and down steep hills and staircases all day, but I hate exercising in public so I just lift with the dumbells I have at my apartment.
So should I wait for my left arm to catch up before I move to a heavier weight? And how do I know when I should move to a heavier weight? When I stop feeling strain after I lift?
Try a bigger weight. Can you do 8-12 reps with it before failure? If so, you're ready for that weight.
If you start to do 13/14+ reps with your current weight, try doing a set with a slightly higher weight
