Why is there so much variation in body types in MMA? Some of them are fatasses, some of them are skinny dyels, some of them are swole. What gives? The GOAT Fedor was bearmode though. He would look great if he did a cut.

heavyweights can be a bit pudgier because you have the leeway to do that. then of course you have monsters like brock lesnar

the lighter guys need to get really skinny to make weight

Different weight classes and different styles. There is no "classic" or "normal" MMA fighter. Some of them are kickboxers, some of them are BJJ fighters, some of them box, some of them wrestle, some of them do muay thai, some of them do sambo, some of them are from a strictly MMA background. There is less emphasis on weight lifting than there is in bodybuilding (though it is incredibly important for a UFC world champion).

Not only that but the illegal nature of steroids means that many of them have different cocktails running through their veins in the off season.

How do I progress with chinups? I can do 3x10 without adding weight
Do I just do it the same way as I would with compounds?

I had like 4 in high school playing baseball. Everyone had one or multiple. Still, don't know what they were supposed to do

I'm on a big cut (1500calories/day) and need a multivitamin. I know food is the best source, but until I can get to a normal weight and back to 2000 calories (ETA December) I want to fill my nutrient gap.

This one is 130 tablets (1 tablet/day) for $10.

Would it be a good choice?

If you're just doing it temporarily then get gummies..cheap multivitamins in regular tablet form rarely even get broken down unless you have a lot of stomach acid or eat slow digesting food.

If you plan on supplementing long term invest in good shit. I only take vitamin c, d, and cod liver oil. Multivitamins are often crap unless you are willing to spend like 50 bucks.

Anyways, broke a metastarsal 3 weeks ago. Was put on a cast for 6 weeks by a doctor. I sweat a lot, and this shit started to smell rotten, a terrible smell that made me puke and have migraines. Was wondering if I could switch to a walking boot for the remaining time. The doctor is an old hack and wont accept it, he keeps saying that if I dont wear a cast I'll need surgery before the year ends. He didn't even know what walking boots were. I have zero pain and can walk normally, at a really slow pace. What should I do?

Whats everyone having for dinner?

I just made some soup with sprouts, tofu, some green stuff, garlic, mushrooms, paprika. Low calorie,cheap,took 3mins to make, and high proton to calorie ratio.

Alright I gotta know.
I just started a routine, some pretty heavy lifting and supplementing with just protein, BCAA and creatine.
How do you guys avoid the deadly gas? Seems like every single day approaching the afternoon (I work out in the morning) I'm uncontrollably gassy. I've considered premixing shakes and putting them in the fridge to let the air bubbles rise out.
What do you guys do?
