Nah get flavored seltzer instead. I did it and it really helped reduce my beer/soda intake (which is at least partially conditioned desire for flavor, not sustenance and is thus rerouted easily) from nearly daily to once or twice on the weekend. Liquid calories are the primary thing people fuck up.

Hey /fit/ what do you normally use to track your calorie intake? I used to use myfitnesspal's food tracker but stopped using it years ago, I think I moved to just a spreadsheet as it is difficult to get all my data from mfp's database so I could analyze it.

So, how do you keep track of what you eat and do you do any sort of analysis on it after the fact?

Second, I can only really speak to my experiences but I've had the bes results when bulking EXTREMELY slowly. Obviously the leaner you are, the better your bulk will go since you'll more easily tack on muscle than fat

Yes

It's up to you, but I'd say eat above or at maintenance. Avoid going below since you want to optimize your recovery and still have some calories left around to go into muscle-building/protein synthesis. Obviously if you're maintaining on rest days it'll slow your rate of weight gain down, but ultimately it's up to you.

I've had good results with P40/F25/C35 but as with the rest of this post YMMV. Everyone is different

should also clarify that I train for strength so if your goals are different my advice might not be super useful, but I'd advocate against dreamer bulking/suicide cutting in any case

Does anyone else use knee braces? Recently, had to kneel on tile for a straight week at work and feel like I have some minor tendon/ligament damage in my knee. It's enough to make me skip leg days so they aren't strained and damaged more. I lift in the morning and do martial arts in the afternoon. Do knee braces help heal knees faster or are they just useful after you've majorly messed them up?

Im never hitting them, resulting in non existent obliques, they're not even limitating me in my lifts but aesthetically i dont look that great shirtless.

I think ill give up "aesthetics" for good. Im an ugly bald manlet so it doesn't matter if im lean or fat. I've got terrible genetics for storing fat and everything goes straight to my gut. I can't even maintain my (questionable) leanness after a cut. Only thing that brings me bit of enjoyment (besides lifting) is eating. I've been eating clean for over 3 years now and couple of minutes ago while having my broccoli and chicken i felt sick just by looking at it. I never cared about food being tasty but it seems like something has snapped. I think it's time to hop on delusional train and act like i care only about strength and anyone with visible abs is a faggot.

Ive been losing weight for about a month now and im a (mostly) casual pot smoker. Is there anyway to make it easier to control the portions I eat when Im batshit high?
I tried drinking it a LOT of water befre hand but I ended up hungry anyway and throwing up.

Try eating a small meal before you smoke. You'll feel fuller and be less likely to binge.

The real answer is just willpower. I lost a ton of weight while smoking everyday. You have to set limits for yourself and adhere to them no matter what, even if you're stoned.
