I havent used margarine in years
Butter tastes way better
margarine objectively but I still use it because 35 calories/tbsp is too good to pass up
I suppose margarine has it's uses, but butter is better by far.
What's the best grilled cheese recipe?
>>9165255
Tomato chutney and worcestershire sauce
stale discount bread
American "cheese"
I can't believe it's not butter
Microwaved for five minutes.
What is /ck/ eating?
>pic related, my dinner
i had a mozzarella and tomato salad, an avocado and some macadamia nuts
Anybody grill anything good lately? Here's what I grilled this afternoon. Please r8 and share your own
>country stlye pork ribs
>chicken hearts w/black peppercorn seasoning
>jalapeno cheddar sausage
>venison sausage (the 3 larger sausages in the back)
Wish i had someone to grill for.
Grilling for yourself is kinda sad, but i still do it since it's so fast with propane.
>marinated chicken breast
>some Sausages
>zucchinis
>paprikas
>eggplants
The venison sausage is slammin. So glad I called into work today. I'm headed down to the natural springs pool where the water is like 60-65 degrees because it's over 100 here
>>9165037
where the fuck are you getting chicken hearts?
What is the most expensive meal you've eaten? How was it?
Shanahan's steak house in Denver, Colorado (or maybe it's Englewood). Meal was just under $300 for 3 people before tip. Great flavor, great product, everybody was extremely satisfied.
Went to an upscale burger place and ended up paying around $60+ dollars for two burgs + milkshakes.
Tasted great, but in hindsight I should've split the bill.

£140, it was this 12 course thing at a restaurant who thought they were posher than they were
It was nice
Today I want to make the ultimate chicken sandwich; I want to put like 20 ingreds in this thing. What should I include?
>>9163594
Definitely avocado, like the pic. Avocado and chicken go together like cheese and cured meats.
>>9163594
Why bother? Mcdonalds already has this figured out
Pickles. No negotiations
Ace Frehley of the band Kiss notoriously ate and always chewed with his mouth open to "aerate" his food which was in his mouth
How do you feel about people who practice this method of eating?
>food and cooking board
>not some remotely related tangental thread you just came up with due to missing your meds

>Ace Frehley, when he ate, would notoriously-

They drive me up the fucking wall.
What is the most calories you've ever eaten at a single time? Either from just one calorie dense food or just eating a fuck ton of food.
>>9147488
Pretty sure I ate a whole pizza once back when my metabolism was through the roof.
>>9147488
I used to drink an 18 pack of beer and eat an extra large stuffed crust pizza every night.
Ate a whole days worth of food and then ordered a pizza and two large fries. Ate that and then at 1 am ordered a pint of Ben and Jerrys as well.
Both times my housemate was out front of the house with some friends so he brought it up to me. Would have been embarrassed had I not been drunk and high.
My ass was in agony the next day from all the fat.
R8 my food lads
>>9170107
Looks like you got some blood in your cum. I would go to a doctor.
>>9170113
It's Australian BBQ sauce
>>9170107
Pizza with Doritos, oregano and ketchup? And berry preserves on the side?
Is this a good idea?
Overnight oats as a concept?
Yeah. They're pretty good especially in the summer. I prefer doing it with chia seeds and almond milk instead, but oats work well too.
Overnight oats as a stand-alone product?
No.
>>9168007
So it's muesli by a different name, how groundbreaking. Way to go my marketing friend.
>>9168066
SOGGY Muesli.
ayo, how do I make some korean fried chicken?
I just had some spicy korean fried chicken at LA, and that was some of the best fucking chicken I had, even better than my momma used to make, god bless her soul.
how do I make some korean fried chicken?
i got no korean friends
Corn starch and baking soda. Dredge your chicken in it and fry.
If you can make normal crispy fried chicken then it's only a matter of spice and sauce next.
>>9167760
>fry chicken
>add this
wallalala
Who /drank/ here? For me it's Delsym 12 and Sprite.
>>9166485
Are you 12
>>9166491

I would hijack this shitty thread for /sip/, but we still have a hundred replies or so to go till autosage
Any of you guys use induction cooktops?
I bought a little single unit because I was intrigued by the technology and wanted to cook shit at work but my god this thing is amazing. I use it more than my gas range. Once I got accustomed to the settings/temps I find it very convenient to know exactly what heat I'm going to get
And it gets hot as fuck, way better sear on steaks than my smallish gas range.
Swear to god any stove I ever buy will be an induction/gas combo
Well guess not, you all should do yourselves a favor and cook on one. Amazingly consistent and responsive
>>9166113
I hate induction almost as much as normal electric burners. They have all the issues of normal electric burners except the heating element does not bend out of shape as easily and they tend to heat up faster. They are a little safer for those who are too retarded to be trusted with a pool noodle. They use cyclical heating and you're screwed if your pan warps in the slightest. They're much more expensive than the pros are worth to me.
>>9166205
What issues are you talking about here?
Electric tops are way different because they constantly turn off and on due to their nature and safety settings, induction doesn't have those limitations
...Nice!
