Eating your mum's meaty roast beef, m8
>burst of garlic scent right when you drop it into the hot oil
>deglazing a good fond
>fresh yeasty bread smells from the oven
Post your favorite ciders and lighter drinks.
I personally prefer Bulmers and Somersby.
>>9205744
Can you recommend a cider for someone who usually likes beer? I want to be able to enjoy cider but it always ends up tasting like sweetened apple juice cut with some kind of cheap liquor.
I've tried normal shit like Angry Orchard and Crispin's and some craft stuff from a local thing called Common Cider Company.
>>9205744
Local distillery/brewery makes this.
Very good.
Woodchuck and Magners aren't bad either.
>>9205744
Those aren't ciders.
What are some good 8'' chef's knives that can be had for $100 Canadian?

Wüsthof Classic, can't go wrong with that.
Welcome to the /ck/ challenge: COLD MAIN DISH MEGA ALPHA EDITION THREAD 2!
>GET CHILLY MAH NIGGAS
That's right: COLD MAIN DISH.
What does that mean? Well, if you can't figure this shit out you should probably stay away from the knives.
*******
Dishes will be scored on the following areas, so keep that in mind.
-Presentation: The appearance of items on the plate; plating skills
-Originality: Creativity in composing the dish
-Appeal: How appetizing the food looks/whether or not the dish appeals to your personal taste as a voter
-Challenge Goals: How closely the entry followed the challenge goal(s)
The distinction between Presentation and Appeal: If someone submits an artfully arranged but burnt steak as an entry, it may score high in Presentation but low in appeal.

>>9173554

Pic realted is my fave.
>>9173577
BUT WHO TOOK THE PICTURE?!?!
Obviously homemade is god tier but sometimes you just gotta throw some hotsauce on your egg and avocado sandwich.
I have fallen into really bad habits with my diet. I get paid every fortnight and I tend to eat a lot of meat my first week then have not much to eat the second week.
Like got some sitr frys with vegan meat and pies and chips until saturday this week.
Whats some cheap and nutritious food I can eat for 2 weeks on about 200aud?
>>9212938
>vegan meat
Not sure how much 200 aud is in freedom cash but:
Ground meat
Pork
Chicken
Rice
Potatoes
Lentils
When im short on cash and need to eat for a few days before payday i make a batch of beans, a bunch of rice and some seasoned ground beef. Costs about $10 and its enough food for about 4 days.
>>9212973
Not super nutritious mate. I mean I'm not super hard up but I've been spending like 300 and I want to spend less.
Pretty keen on actually cooking but I tend to focus on meat dishes and don't eat enough vegetables.
Also aud-usd isn't actually accurate for purchasing power because our min wage is 18.50 so everything costs more
>>9212938
>cant eat for less than $50AUD a fortnight
nigga are you even trying?
How do you guys eat spaghetti? What I do is basically this, I cut open a banana and scoop the fleshy insides out. Then I fill the hollow peel with spaghetti and eat it with chopsticks. I like the subtle banana aroma and flavor that the hollow peel provides. What about you?
Most of the time on a plate. Sometimes I have spaghetti with meatballs, cooked ground beef, or oxtail.
>>9212842
No you do none of that.
>>9212849
Yes I do, check the picture I posted. I took that picture.
these are some serious meme food or something but I ended up with some and don't have a lot of other food at the moment.
Should I batter and fry them?
also discuss these things in general
I cook them with rice.
>>9212710
I tried those exactly once. A few seconds after I popped the seal on the can, I was hit with the overpowering aroma of cheap wet dog-food. I gagged I powered through it and opened the can, then tried to eat one sausage. It tasted fucking awful. I threw it out.
>>9212710
Those fucking things are horrid. My ex tried to get me to like them. Bassically gave an ultimatum, I finish a whole can or no sex.
what does /ck/ put in their noodles?
i just buy slightly more expensive grains and dont feel like ive been exposed to radiation and injected with mexican sewage.
>>9212541
what do you add for seasonings? Sometimes I put steak seasoning and cayenne in mine
just butter and pepper. i don't like that powder.
>buy an extra large bag of M&Ms
>finish it in one sitting
WTF!? I thought you were suppose to lose your sweet tooth as you got older?
>>9212198
You do if you're not a fat fuck with no self-control.
>>9212198

How do I get around the herb and spice jew? I already know stores jip you on basil since I grow my own and that shit grows like a fucking weed. There is no way these other spices should cost so damn much.
>>9211989
Grow your own herbs and just buy your damn spices. If you can't cough up $3 for a years worth of a spice, you probably shoud find a better job than McDonald's.
>>9211996
>$3
>year supply
Yeah see this is the problem, $3 gets me maybe a month or two of herb. Where are you buying that you can get a bulk package for 3 fucking dollars?
>>9212006
You know that isle where you can buy the $6 30g glass viles of McCormic spices?
Look a little farther down and you will find big bags of the same shit for $4
Hey /ck/, I have an internet friend coming to visit me in a few weeks or so, I have known him for a lot of years on and off. There will be ice cream and there will be vodka, but other than that what should I make for the first day?
>>9211735
anal lube and sashimi
>>9211735
>I have known him for a lot of years
Well, we haven't. What do you think he would like? Care to tell us more, where they are from, interests, age, etc?
Cut your fat faggot gut open and let the steamy buildup of cum in your stomach ooze out over a toasted cronut you inevitable no-obituary suicide.
Opinions on this show?
