Love this shit, can easily eat a whole fucking tub of it in one go
But besides eating it straight, in a sandwich or putting it on toast and having it with a bit of pepper, and sometimes a cheeky dab of mustard, what else can you really do with cottage cheese?
>>8059731
I dunno, I used to fucking love cottage cheese as a kid, but I kind of grew out of it for that reason. There's only so much congealed curds and whey you can eat before you get sick of it.
>>8059755
I've been eating it all my life bro, my lunches at school were basically just cruskits with cottage cheese every day
My grandma used to dump canned oysters into a tub of cottage cheese. Shit was pretty cash.
are beer cupcakes a meme?
Next time, just say:
"Are beer cupcakes good?"
YOU CAN NEVER TRY ANYTHING BECAUSE IT MAY BE A MEME
EVER.
GOD FORBID Someone CATCHES YOU PARTAKING IN MEME FOOD
Aaaahhhhggggg
>>8059729
cupcakes are a meme, and so are microbrews, so yeah it'slike a meme squared
So, /ck/. What's it like knowing your eating chemicals?
>>8059711
Everything is that is material is also chemical, though I do agree some chemicals like msg, pesticides and herbicides are best left off the plate.
Stay natural, stay healthy.
There's literally nothing wrong with MSG
>>8059711
Gotta keep away from those scary sounding names. Who the fuck know just what goes into hydric acid Better never get any near you.
I have to live off rice for a few days. What do I cook with it?
Water
>>8059666
Only rice? Or can you pick up some things to cook with it like eggs, scallions or other veggies, soy sauce?
If you want it more filling, you can always cook it with leftover stock or broth you have.
You can also make rice pudding.
Put sliced hot dogs in the rice while it's steaming, eat with ketchup.
Fuck these are spicy
So is your moms dick
>>8059645
fuck you, man
>>8059636
yea those are the only actual spicy cheetos they make. I only get those ever so often cause they make my tummy a little upset. but I can eat the rest of hot cheeto family everyday with no problems.
Any frenchfags around here?
Where can I find cottage cheese around here?
Is this the same thing as "fromage blanc"?
First, you're going to need to build your own cheese cloth loom. Or just go out and get a quart of cottage cheese.

My friend gave me a fuckton of lemons from his tree the other day. Other than lemonade, what can I make that uses a lot of lemons?
Lemons go into coleslaw, any type of tangy dipping sauce, tartar sauce, use them as a shitty replacement in vodka tonics, on fish, piri piri chicken marinade.
>>8059501
Make lemonade.
>>8059501
Make Lemon Zest pie you fuck
What are some good ways to learn to cook based on cuisine / ingredient / technique? Like a show or educational program that discusses them per item and the differences?
>>8059480
Fellow newfag-crossboarder here, have a free bump
Alton Brown is great for young adults. Then ignore everything he says and listen to Gordon Ramsay. Then ignore most of what he says and listen to Kenji. You learn how shit works along the way.
>>8059480
If you're looking for cuisine specific knowledge cookbooks are still actually useful. Pick up a few dedicated to the specific cuisine you're interested in. Good ones will tell you which dishes are traditionally served together to make a meal.
tomatoes are 20 cents a pound right now
CANNING TIEM
BUY BUY BUY
YOU MAKE THOSE TOMATOES YOUR BITCH, OP!
>>8059400
>20 cents a pound
Is it a smart idea to buy loads of these now in hopes than I can then sell them for a higher price when one of them is in short supply and make a bunch of money?
Also we all agree Sizzling Salsa is better right?
>>8059324
Check the expiration date first.
>>8059350
The 10th of this year.
No, that is not a smart idea.
What should i put on a totino's party pizza?

>>8059311

lets not fuck around here; in the world of low tier fast food hamburgers, burger king is the best by far
BK > wendys > mcdonalds > hardee's/carls jrs
i dont count culvers because it doesnt count as low tier
>>8059233
Burger King is shit. Wendy's burgers are actually pretty good
>>8059237
This. Wendy's is clearly better, it's even better than five guys.
>>8059254
Five Guys wins in my opinion because they have better fries.
I just bought this cheese powder and have no idea what to do with it.
Make KD.
make mac and cheese
repeat 50 times
I've been interested in this. Mainly to make Mac n cheese with cheap whole grain pasta. I also want to try it with mashed potatoes.

>>8059671

all memes aside, that recipe is literally exactly what I do, except I mix olive oil and butter
Let's talk about pork.
Specifically, who's had pork cheeks and whats the best way of preparing them?
>>8059108
Depends on how processed. You may have to flash-boil and scrape off the inner side. Then you can do whatever you want, braised and eaten whole, diced and fried into hash, or something along those lines. Sounds pretty collagen rich, and thus gelatin rich if you treat it right.
>>8059118
Would it be an alright dish for a bachelor like me to make if he can only follow simple cooking directions?
The price intrigues me, but I don't want to fuck it up.
The face is the best part of every animal. I've been wanting to get a sheep's head, but I know my mom would shit if she saw it.
Anyway, pork is god. Pig face? For me, it's gotta be braised. Rosemary bundle, sofrito, about a cup of whey. Slather the cheeks in butter and crushed garlic, some salt and pepper, sear quickly. Brown spfrito in bacon fat in a Dutch oven, then throw in the rosemary and the cheeks and pour in the whey. Put it in a 250ish degree oven for like, 4+ hours.
