Give me one good reason why you're not eating the most based fruit ever right now.
>Delicious sweet-sour flavour like candy
>Can eat whole like an apple, skin has great texture and doesn't get stuck between teeth
>Super healthy for you
>Cheap as fuck compared to all the main fruits that everyone knows about
>Shares name with adorable small bird

Because I'm in church
Why do people keep having different food preferences than me? Everyone in America likes all the same things that I like and eats all the same things that I eat, because that's what America means! I know this, because I myself am American, and that is what I believe. Logic, bitch! It's what separates Americans from the rest!
But I go on the internet and there are all these foreigners (I can tell they are foreigners because they don't have the exact same preferences and habits as I do) are constantly having wrong tastes, and they don't even change their tastes when I explain to them what I like (that is to say, what America likes). Why do they keep doing this? It's obviously because of their foreign ignorance, because even though they are obsessed with us, they haven't visited America. They hate us cuz they ain't us. These poor foreigners in their mud huts, if they ever set foot in America they'd understand why America #1 and my opinions are shared by all 319 million Americans, and then they'd instantly like all the things I like, and not like the things I don't like. Because that's the great thing about America. We know who's American and who isn't, it's easy to tell, because if you disagree with me you are definitely not from here and in fact are probably mentally ill.

I give it a 7/10. Remove the "logic bitch" and "they hate because bla bla" and you'd have a solid piece.
It's a "europoors daily obsession over America" episode!

Nah, this is a "coastal daily obsession over non-self-hating-america" thread.

I'm biased though because he forced our school to remove the kitchens based on them serving unhealthy food, and they never rebuilt them so I had cold lunches only for 6 years.
There is literally nothing wrong with stuff like pizza and fries as long as you are also eating meats, veggies, nuts and fruits regularly. Especially when you're growing and need a fuckton of calories.
Ask a pizza hut cook anything

How can I jew corporate into giving me free stuff?
>Hey guys get a load of this beer, it has notes of grapefruit, buddha hand lemon, yuzu, and a white pepper finish
>DANK, I can't wait to get my hands on a growler!
>Hey guys check out this chardonnay, even though it's from California it's got a lot of green apple on the palate
>WTF, wine is a joke, it's made of grapes! How can it even taste like an apple?
Explain yourselves
>>8061807
>Explain yourselves
Wine costs more than beer for the amount of alcohol in it
The rest is just rationalizing
>>8061807
This seems like an invalid starting premise.
I think you are quoting two different people, sounds like some kind of strawman or something
But you must keep in mind, wine is a much more simplistic beverage, there is just a lot more going on with hops than grapes and thats not even considering the much more complex variety of grains available compared to grapes
How do I make this dish?

Did you wash your hands before Pajeet?
What is /ck/'s opinion on them?
>>8061215
Parents used to get them back in 1996. They were ok I guess?
honestly it's not really much better than what you'd get at a nice grocery store, plus you are paying for them to drive around in a freezer truck to deliver it, which makes it kinda overpriced unless you either
a) really fucking love their food, or
b) have more money than mobility and can't move to a place that has decent grocery delivery.
my folks used to get their ice cream and their breaded shrimp back in the 90s and those were pretty good. my dad is a picky eater, so for a while they were the only shrimp he would eat.
I haven't tried them in a number of years, but I've heard their quality is not quite so good now. that's second/third/fourth-hand info though, so it may not be true. I've thought about getting their stuff because I'm a housebound autismbux NEET, but then I see their prices and somehow making the trek to hy-vee doesn't seem so bad.
I used to get French Toast sticks from them that were bomb as fuck.
Fuck that big mchuge burgers, man. Sliders are where it's at.
Post slider recipes, favorite sliders, etc etc

Buying my first "good" knife this week. All I've owned were $40 Block Sets from Walmart or similar... Well I cook almost every day - and I've finally decided that I should invest in something nice.
So my first research told me that my choice was between Germany and Japan.
>Germans
Easier to sharpen, buts needs it more often. Not as sharp as the VG10 Jap steel. Generally better handles, more comfortable.
>Japan
Harder to sharpen, you need more technique - certain stones, etc. Takes a sharper edge, holds it longer. Not as heavy, typically less comfortable. Most focus is in the sharp part, not the hand part.
So then I went on Amazon, and found a company called "Dalstrong." The reviews were all good, so naturally I started looking for bad reviews - anywhere on the Internet. I couldn't find anyone calling them out. The only down side is that they are made in China. The steel is imported, the build is Japanese... but at the end of the day, it comes from the land of lead paint, lead milk - built by people that cook puppies in boiling water while laughing. This is a major red flag.
Anyway, I hate buyer's remorse, as I'm sure you all do. So I'm putting out feelers. I've never used this board before, so I'm not sure where you guys rate on the fag-o-meter. But it never hurts to ask.
>>8061097
So what, if anything, have you heard about Dalstrong? Do you think this is a good blade for a home cook that processes vegetables from sun up till sun down?
>>8061097
>What is your experience with high end knives?
>Have you ever regretted a buy?
>What have you learned since getting into the higher quality cookware game?
This handle really does look well designed. They say they are full tang, and hefty... But how can you know for sure until you pick one up?
>>8061097
For the same money as a sheet metal stamped, made in china "Dalstrong" knife you could buy a decent entry hand forged Japanese carbon steel knife which will last you significantly longer.
It's 2:15 am on the east coast.
Should I drive to the nearest McDonald's to get something to eat?
if youre drunk which im guessing you are, no. mcdonalds, literally, trains employees to snitch on drunks. they know what drunks do at night, drive to mcdanks. they will take your order, meet you at the window, detect the distinct smell of alcohol on your breath, tell you that the fryer/thing broke so they make you park, and call the fucking police. i have seen them do this on 2 occasions. mcds is a privately run DUI checkpoint made in partnership with secret deals with the cops. they make money off it.
