Holy shit, these are amazing, regular potato chips or hot fries can go eat a dick.

i feel ya anon. screaming memelian can suck a dick.
What are /ck/'s thoughts on food touching the ground?
It all depends
Typically, I probably won't eat anything that's been on the ground for longer than a minute or two. Depending on the texture of the food my Decision will change.
E.g. I won't eat a piece of pizza if it hits dirt, unless I'm super hungry, there is nothing else around and I didn't get much dirt on it. Grass or rock or a clean indoor surface won't stop me though.
Same for potato chips/something not so moist, it all depends on how much gunk got on the food.
I suppose unless I see it, it isn't dirty in my mind.
In that same vein, I would never eat something off a bathroom floor, even if there aren't visible debris on the food.
I wouldn't drink a slurpie off my kitchen floor, but I would a beer.
I could go on and on but this question is getting increasingly tedious.
I'd eat that loaf of bread if I was the one who dropped it, even a few hours later, most likley.

I would not eat that afterwards, too moist
I don't eat anything that's touched the floor or ground

I've never had a McChicken but I regularly repost the meme because I think it's funny in a stupid kind of way.
I talk shit on McDonald's constantly even though I eat there several times a week.
I work at a two star michelin restaraunt and we make some of the sauces with ketchup.
Hey /ck/, what's the best way to cook a large batch of buffalo wings? Anyone have a good recipe?
>>8251674
fry wings
put in a bowl when done
dump bottle of buffalo sauce on them and mix
>>8252162
This. Or better yet:
-Wings in smoker
-Finish by frying
-Buffalo sauce (whatever hot sauce you like + butter)
Alternatively you could do Korean wings which are great but they aren't Buffalo wings. Honorable mention.
Fry wings at 350° for 12-13 minutes depending on how crispy you like them. Toss in Buffalo sauce. That equals Frank's Red Hot and a some real butter. Coat nicely then throw on a flame grill for about 30 seconds to a minute then flip another 30 seconds to a minute. Super tasty, nice charred taste on top of the Buffalo sauce and not quite as messy as just tossed in sauce
I bought a pound of Carne Picada from the mexican market. Any mexibros got advice on what to do with it?
This shit is so mexican, every Google search for ideas yields spanish only sites
I guess all you pretentious faggots are above answering my fucking question
>>8251692
I tried googling it but don't understand Spanish. Sorry.

Get a large pan, large enough so the meat is not overcrowded and ends up boiling. Heat up the pan on high and put some oil in there. Just enough to coat the bottom. Toss the meat in the pan when its gets hot. Season the meat with some salt. Throw in some diced onions and garlic. Once the onions get clear throw in some diced jalapenos and tomatoes. Season some more with salt and pepper and a little bit of cilantro.
You can use it to make some badass burritos, tacos or over some rice and beans.
Show us your freezer, /ck/.

What are your favorite dishes when the weather begins to get cold?
pot roast and nanaimo squares
>>8251482
I only like soup and bowls of noodles during cold weather. Pho would really hit the spot rn ngl.
okay /ck/, topic is dim sum.
What are some of your favorite dim sum places? How about your favorite dim sum dishes?
Got this haul tonight from a local place. It was a bit expensive I think but totally worth it, everything was great.
>top (diagonal) row
egg yolk steamed buns, fried taro puffs
>middle row
zhar lium, steamed bbq pork buns, tofu skin roll
>second middle row
sesame balls, deep fried seaweed crab meat rolls
>bottom row
xiao long bao
bump please I would like to discuss dim sum
>>8251405
You get dim sum to go? When I get it the stuff is served to you at the table by ladies pushing little carts around.

>no har gow

Just kidding OP, looks good. The steamed tripe is also vastly underrated.
All I want right now is a fresh baguette with a bunch of french cheese and salami and olives but I am too depressed to leave my apartment this is suffering. What do?
REEEEE
>>8251402
You could always go out and get a fresh baguette and superior English cheese.
>>8251647
The only thing the English are superior at is losing empires.
listen up you dick dials. ima give you like 1 full lunar cycle to try and conjur a reason why you still be using hot sauce instead of powders.
>straight spice without altering the flavor
>fewer calories/salt
>all sorts of varieties
>cool packaging
powder needs to be prepared into sauce first because eating powder tastes like ass and sand.
>>8251386
>straight spice without altering the flavor
Why even use it if it doesn't change the flavor then?
>>8251408
Your response is like a dog's dried out asshole imho.
What up coo/ck/s, I am anticipating to move out to my own place next month. I'm living at home so I need to buy everything. Needless to say, because I don't have my own stuff and was just using my mom's kitchenware, I have a lot of research to do. And I have been. I will post the stuff I have picked out and I was hoping you guys would give me recommendations on the stuff I need and picked out.
I do like to cook, and I don't want to cheap out, but also I'm on a tighter budget. But I don't need to over due it since I am just cooking for myself and I don't do a lot of crazy cooking. It will be a very expensive move due to first/last/brokers fee, and every thing else.
What I have picked out, is all subject to change. But I am struggling with
1) 'dinnerware'. I'm on the crateandbarrel site now. Struggling between a light color plates or clean white
2) stainless steel pots/pans - i'm really not trying to spend more than 150$ for a set. I dont know if I should buy a set or buy individual
Im in the ny area so I kinda want to go to the store before I buy stuff. I def will be going to ikea to get other non-essential things i will need, like a pitcher

Home Goods, Tuesday Morning, and other cheapo stores like them are the best places to buy kitchen shit. They have good stuff there for excellent prices.
Ikea is also a great place to get cheap but sturdy kitchen stuff. It's not like their shitty furniture at all. I got a set of six dinner plates, salad plates, and bowls for just $20. That was several years ago and there's not even a chip on one of them.
As for pots and pans, I would personally just buy them separately. What I'd term essentials are a frying pan, a medium saucepan, and a large stock pot. Make sure they have thick bottoms; it's a good idea to go into a physical store and hold them in your hands to make sure they have a good weight to them.
I'd also highly recommend getting a cast-iron Dutch oven. They're extremely useful. Le Creuset is generally considered the best, but they're really expensive. I have a Food Network one that works really well.
Don't think you need to buy everything at once; as you go on you'll realize what you need for whatever cooking you're doing.

I bought my dad one of these a couple of years ago because I use victorinox knives at work and like them. It was $100 when I bought it, and they've jacked the price up, but it's a damn fine knife set if you can afford it. If not, get the ones homeslice recommended
Where to cop horse filet or horse entrecote in USA?
Or just sausage for sandwiches
It's illegal in the US the only slaughter houses I know of would export to other countries and for all I know they're closed now.
>>8251154
Is there any special reason it's illegal? I'm sure horse corpses are somehow utilized also in the US, so why not use the meat (which is tasty btw)?
inb4 we also don't eat dogs and cats
>>8251189
Because feelings, the same reason most other things are illegal in any country
Very rarely do laws have good reasoning behind them. So vote Gary Johnson and eat all the horse you would like
Do you put beans in your chili?
>>8251052
This again
Yeah I always do. My mom always does too. That being said, I would be interested in trying chili without beans. Maybe a really spicy one with like, actual chili peppers in it?
Yes. I make my chili as protein packed as possible and beans will also add fiber. Nothing larger than a kidney bean though.
I enjoy being a gayer.
I can fast for 2-3 days.
2 stone lost, 28+ lbs, another one left.
Do you fast? I feel like really REALLY my mum just fucked food for me, "oh you must have a piece of meat with every meal", "oh you must eat three times a day". Like nah.
