Hey al/ck/oholics
I have to go to an AA meeting and want to know what to expect... Also, if you could share some stories, that would help!
it's very religiousy, according to my mom
Hope you enjoy surrendering yourself to Jesus.
It's a cult
Can someone explain the difference in taste between three and four cheese pizza? I've had both and I can't really tell but perhaps someone with a more refined palate can explain.
From my experience, four cheese pizza has one more type of cheese than three cheese pizza does, and it tastes different as a result.

Very good thank you. Finally sorted that out. 10/10.
PS not OP
>>8265536
that was a pretty cheesy reply
Is it okay to use Hawaiian Bread to make sandwiches/burgers?
No, never do that or we'll find you and kill you
Fuck off with this thread, idiot
depends what it is.
if you are just making lunch meat sandwiches (ham, turkey, salami,) yeah its fine, put some cheese, butter/mayo on it
burgers are not really ideal for it unless you are making white castle sliders esque stuff..but thats if you are using cheapass/frozen meat
dont waste expensive meat on cheapass peasant buns..get some nice soft buns that are big...personally I like Arnold brand buns for standard hamburgers.
No this makes mustard gas
IT'S TIME AGAIN FOR ANOTHER ROUND OF "QUESTIONS THAT DON'T DESERVE THEIR OWN THREAD"
I'll start things off with a couple of trash-child level questions.
when making shrimp Alfredo
should I add shrimp to the sauce as I am cooking or add them at the end?
should I saute the shrimp?
what is the shortest simplest way to make a basic alfredo sauce?
>>8265086
I'd save the shells off the shrimp and gently simmer those to extract flavor, then boil that down and add it.
Never heard of cream of shrimp soup.
1/2 C butter, 3/4 C grated Parmesan cheese, 1 C heavy cream.
In a medium bowl, beat butter and Parmesan with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add cream, a little at a time, until mixture resembles softly scrambled eggs. Toss with hot pasta to serve.

>American """""cuisine""""
>>8265115
I buy my shrimp shelled and pre-frozen because that 4-fold difference in price is a BITCH
cream of shrimp and pre-made alfredo sauce is what I've been using so far. it tends to work but usually needs time to thicken
never thought of using peanut butter for things like this...
I just tried sriracha for the first time recently. Sure, it's nice, but what's with the weird obsession some people have?
>>8264912
Let me explain
Basically it has a bunch of salt and a little spice, people who like siracha have just fallen for the salt meme. It's not even spicy, just tangy and salty.
It's one of the best hot sauces imo
But not the best, that title belongs to Aardvark sauce
>>8264914
It is spicy (hot) enough for the ordinary joe schmoe.
How does this shit compare to your average BBQ sauce?
it's the best, obv
>>8264558
BBQ related question.
I am attempting my first low and slow today, with beef cheeks.
It's my first time using a thermometer, and the digital one I bought is pretty shit. It's reading a temp of 151C, and I want 110-120. What's a good way to bring temps down on my weber kettle? Will it matter much if they were a little too high for the first hour?
>>8265338
close the vents and/or spray water on it
Would it be so hard to make something nice? I walk past the shops all the time and they smell of rancid oil. I only like Chinese dishes I made myself.
>>8264526
you're an idiot
>>8264551
Am I?
I feel you OP, it's mostly a greasy mess. In before muh authentic chink food autists.
Baked this today with a wild yeast starter I've been culturing for a couple weeks. What are your thoughts? I'm a big boy, criticism welcome.
>>8264421
Looks pretty good. Maybe a little dense in the bottom center, but really a nice crumb structure for a first time. Nice lame work also.
I let my culture die this summer and have to start a new one. Been making italian breads with a biga starter lately.
use a breadpan next time
>>8264468
I use a preheated dutch oven with the lid on for 20 minutes and off for the last 25. I feel like that gives me a better crust than a pan.
I've never eaten maple syrup, is it any good?
Very
>>8264215
the best sweet condiment that goes with basically anything
>pancakes
>yogurt
>ice cream
>cola
It's alright, a bit too sweet for me personally but I eat it occasionally with hotcakes.
Holy fucking shit, I thought it was just a joke but sushi is actually really fucking delicious. I can't believe I went all this time never tasting it, I can't get enough now.
But it's so expensive...
wait till you try ramen
>>8263762
my favorite thing to do when I get sushi is to go to the bar and sit next to the eternal trench coat wearing weeb.
>mashing ginger into soy sauce
>mixing soy sauce with wasabi
>drowning expensive rolls in soy
>order a bud light
>don't tip
Why does other people's anger make me so happy /ck/?
>>8263767
lol
Holy fuck. I just had milk for the first time and why the fuck didn't any of you cunts tell me about this? It's so fucking good. Hold me bros because I'm about to cum.
>how come none of you told me about milk
i hate you
milk is goat, but tons of people on this website will tell you otherwise
honestly, there is nothing finer than a tall, ice cold glass of moo juice.
I prefer vanilla soymilk. Love that stuff ever since I was a kid
Let's say that I wanted to go out like a true /ck/ poster. This the only board I really care about and I'd like to die by eating.
What are some cool recipes that guarantee death? e.g. bleach cocktails, uncooked rice balls, or pufferfish sushi.
Asking theoretically, of course...
>>8263575
200 apple seeds
>>8263575
Who are you going to kill?
Make sure to build up a little convenience with them so they trust you. Bake them some shit once in a while before you try and poison them
>>8263606
Not a recipe, but good idea.
Maybe 200 apple seeds blended into a berry smoothie?
Hey Guys, Looking for Peanut Butter recommendations, i love peanut butter, but i want something new, if anyone can explain things such as Extra Creamy pb etc. DONT FUCKING POST CRUNCHY. IF I WANTED PEANUTS I'D BUY FUCKING PEANUTS
Jif natural, probably not real natural, but its freaking delicious.
Honey roasted creamy is the GOAT of peanut butters desu
Yeah a lot of people recommend Honey Roasted, im a leaf so i dont have JIF, would skippy nat honey be good?
What's wrong with my cookies, /ck/? They're nice (but a little flat) around the edges but very underdone in the middle, even though they're browned.
Too high of a temperature and not enough flour
>>8263277
I'm baking at 350, what would you recommend?
I weighed out the flour also, 300g, how much more should I add?
>>8263274
THIS LOOKS LIKE AN ABORTION
Christmas is coming up and people have started asking me what I want
What are some ~$50 /ck/ approved things that I never knew I needed?
>>8263223
A "Saturday Evening Post?"
i got a cheap deep fryer for $45 that's pretty dope
Get some nice pyrex mixing bowls
A rice cooker
A nice cast iron pan or two?
Jeez idk, posting because I need to know the same thing lol. My grandparents buy me one kitchen item for Christmas each year and I've got all the basics, a toaster/convection oven, microwave, blender, etc.
