Holy shit, I think I've finally done it. Here's the big kahuna. This one is going to make all of us so fucking rich. My only question is, why has nobody started an Uzbekistani goat trading forum yet?
Uzbekistani mountain goat or domesticated goat? The Uzbekistani goat crowd is deeply divided, I doubt you could get them onto a single forum without new blood feuds breaking out each week.

Do you want to be poor for the rest of your life?
>>1440359
Well, what can you do. It's been like that for generations. People are proud of their mountain goats. And they're a glorious sight to behold! Sure, they don't give as much milk, but as they say in Sarnashma valley, "You only need a domesticated goat if there is Russian winter in your marrital bed." Stubborn mountainfolk don't take kindly to limp-wristed plains farmers.
It would be hard to get them to negotiate on the same forum. At least I'd put in some wordfilters for "sister" and "mother" to avoid the worst bloodshed...
Please help /biz/. My boss is literally a bully and abuses and yells at me for no reason on daily basis, and humiliates me in front of all my coworkers. I know that I should quit and i'm still applying for other jobs but no answers for 3 months now

What if you take online video games, and introduce gambling?
Essentially, you're exploiting people who are already prone to video-game addiction to gambling, which is also highly addictive.
Each player (or team) can buy in at $10, $20, $50 etc and play to win the pot - either as a team or if its an individual 1v1 game, winner takes all.
This gambling service is accessible to anyone through my app.

How about an app that allows people to bet on other people's bet's? I.e. synthetic bets.
Or, a service that pools the risk of different people's bet's into a single fund of bets, divided into various tranches according to risk?
>>1440265
>you're exploiting people who are already prone to video-game addiction to gambling, which is also highly addictive.
They already do that. It has become incredibly common in recent years. Everything that offers random rewards taps into this, but the way the're doing it now is quite shameless. Think about it. There's no reason a random reward couldn't just show up. But every game under the sun has some variant of a spinning wheel of fortune, basically a slot machine. The delay between initiating the reward and seeing what it is, taps into lower instincts. We're tense, our expectations build, the reward is perceived much more importantly than it actually is - basically, it's facilitating addictive behaviour. And showing you other, much better rewards zipping by on the wheel is purely to make you addicted. There's no reason for it. The RNG has already decided on the reward, but they always make it seem as if you were just 1 tick off of the biggest and best thing ever, so you keep coming back.
CSgo cases, Forza Horizon rewards, "packs" in every card and deck building game under the sun. Their basic mechanism is gambling addiction. In case of CSgo and deckbuilding games, there even is money involved to buy more spins of the wheel.
You're at least a decade late with your idea. This is mainstream gaming right now.

How about an app that allows someone to invest in a poor child, or allows a poor parent to crowd-source funds for their kids education so they can go to a good school and get more opportunities (the kid is most likely going black and/or lives in shitty neighborhoods/projects).
Investors take a cut of the kid's future earnings until their investment + a specified % interest in paid back once they graduate and get a job. They are able to withdraw funds if the kid doesn't meet educational requirements + the crowd-funding is subject to certain restrictive covenants.
Essentially investors are giving the kid a future, while at the same time reducing income and wealth inequality since education increases productivity and leads to better jobs which pay more.
These kids who would otherwise have no way out of the cycle of poverty can dream of a better future while investors also make a nice profit.
I call it "Niggernomics" but this is only a placeholder name.
Pretend you are my potential investors, what do you say, /biz/?

Better yet, how about a charity app that put 2% of Google wallet purchases towards kids in Africa.
You can just use half of it on administrative costs and if you have a few hundred dedicated users, you can make a living.

its called taxation
How about a service that makes material nonpublic information public so people can trade off said information.
I call it "Boiler Room".
Its essentially Twitter for stocks. It makes markets more transparent.
Make it happen, I'll subscribe

Is it legal?

that would be insider trading so no.

Those are a dime a dozen. Indeed, monster, craigslist, glassdoor, etc
An app where you, me or anyone can provide micro finance to other people who need it for their businesses, projects, start-up money to buy equipment etc.
Someone says they need money and they provide a description for the purpose, and you can provide them with the funds and specify a % return you expect from them and a payback period.
Find a single flaw. Pro-tip: you can't.
So you wanna be a bank
Sounds like Lending Club

We have several tracks recorded that we're wanting to release at once, the only trouble is that the copyrighting process usually takes 4-5 months.
What's the fastest cheapest way to copyright multiple songs at once?
Add the warning label "Donut Steel"
>copyrighting process
What the hell is this even supposed to mean? You've created the songs, you own the copyright. There's no process involved. If you've written and performed the songs yourself, by national and international law (WIPO treaty, TRIPS, etc) you immediately own all rights.
Are you talking about that Library of Congress thing? You only need to register your works with the LoC if you plan to litigate your copyrights in the US as far as I'm aware.
>>1439817
I mean registering proof of copyright.
Hey /biz/

I just finished "The Millionaire Fastlane" by MJ Demarco.
Since I have had at summer job, where I do physical work, I have listened to it as an audio book.
It was decent. It is great for people that have the complete wrong mentality when it comes to money and how to spend it. But since we are on a Business & Finance board, I suppose most people here already live by many of MJ Demarco's premise.
Going to be based in London and Brussels, our current team consist of a PhD Mathematician, a PhD Computer Scientist, and an MSc Chemist (all of us are working free as founders). We are all taking a 6 month leave from work/study from September to February.
We have a combined budget of 30,000 euros for expenses and possible compensation (depending on how qualified you are etc).
All of these claims will be proven to you before any work is requested whatsoever.
Don't be surprised if it takes a week to respond, I don't finish work for a few weeks so I'm a bit swamped.
Remember it takes nothing to apply so if it turns out to be bs you've lost nothing.

Is there even a way to get a proper job if you have a criminal record and conviction?
Would any employers overlook what happened if you present yourself well and explain what happened for jobs that aren't for plebs?

depends on your definition of proper job

Like a white collar job which actually has room to grow.
basically, is your life pretty much over if you have a criminal conviction in that regard EVEN if you've been a clean, good boy for the vast majority of your life, have a Degree and have professional experience?
