we should make a BlackLivesMatterCoin.
It would be a causecoin, and you know the media would hype it. then we could pump it ya feel me?
Not sure how many #BLM are into crypto, but the get rich quick idea sure does seem a fit.

You mean just like trumpcoin, eh
That didn't work out well
And all the threads are just getting on everyones nerve
the problem is, most nigs have low IQ, so the market is low for this coin, but worth a shot

Aren't you guys are ever scared of being victims of identity theft? I personally am a little bit, it seems so common these days with all the data leaks and criminals...
How does one protect themselves from this? Besides the obvious there's so many things outside your control that I'm pretty sure it can happen to anyone... Pretty much every celebrity has had their SSN and other data leaked online.
So is there anything we can do? Or do banks and credit bureaus help with any of these problems that might occur?
I'm just considering if this happens and they shrug their shoulders and say "Sorry nothing we can do" for whatever reason.
How do millionaires and billionaires protect themselves from the evergrowing threat of identity theft?
>>1436974
I may be wrong but I feel like once you get into big money, you get treated better along with protection. Like detectives will actually care about ID stolen..idk
>>1436974
>How do millionaires and billionaires protect themselves from the evergrowing threat of identity theft?
They dont have to. Thats the banks problem.
Banks will eat the loss to keep customers.
They then have plenty of ways to pass said loss on to other partys. Like for example, all businesses that accept credit cards are required to be PCI complaint (most are not) and if someone uses a stolen credit card, and the business accepts it without being compliant the banks refund the money to the client and the business loses whatever the thief stole.
>>1437012
True but what about when millions are stolen?
Ive heard of that happening in the news and I'm curious if and how quickly banks fix that. Even if they're unable to retrieve the actual funds.
What happens to people's portfolios/other assets when they go to prison?
I was just thinking... let's say someone goes to prison, what happens to their things? They can no longer manage their car, bank accounts, broker account/portfolios, or their home or other possessions.
So what happens? If you go to prison for numerous years can you freeze your bank and broker accounts? Do you tell your landlord then pack your shit and put it in a storage locker? Same with car? Can you pay in advance multiple years for those?
But most importantly your bank and broker accounts. What happens to them since you cant manage them for many years, can you request them frozen?
your bank account and investments stays the same, if you have bank fees, they will keep deducting untill you run into the negatives
>>1436968
What if your money gets stolen and you're not available to report it to the bank for 5 years?
That happens sometimes, would you be fucked then or get it back?
You can use a phone in jail right? So you can call all these people if you want to? Everything goes as normal and the govt would likely seize anything significant as proceeds of crime anyway
What's /biz/ think about this? Anyone tried it or currently still using it?
Sorry if covered already.
Its all right but I prefer having more control. Personally I use loyal3 for small ($10) fee free investments instead of a change app thatll come out more than when I might want it to
>>1436958
>app charges fees
> to put you in a fund that charges fees
bump: would like more feedback
I work in finance for a pretty big company (140k+) and recently got access to some employee information of people in a department we were working on (HR). I was shocked to see how well paid a lot of the analysts, managers and directors were paid. $60-200 an hour. One was some director who was the same age/education as me but was making $120 an hour!
Is it a good field to transfer over to? I've been there before and it's just full of good looking women and gay men. Might be a nice change of scenery.

I mean more training is a good thing. Adds to the arsenal. So at least in the long run you'll look more like executive material, even if it's not great in the short run.
>>1436938
Not a lot of substance in those positions but if the corporations are throwing a lot of money at them, why not take it.
>>1436938
>good looking women and gay men
>minimum of $60/hr.
Sounds like heaven

Is this how it's supposed to work?

But that would be unethical to the shareholders!

Is this supposed to be a critique of libertarianism?
Families in homes don't have customers. But a family that chose to dispose of leaves safely could make it a selling point like Whole Foods. Libertarians don't argue against existing OSHA regulotions. So the brake replacement "joke" is inapplicable and unfunny.
Tl;dnr Op is unfunny Berniefag. Enjoy voting for Hillary fucking sellout lol cause I know you're not voting for Trump or Gary Johnson
Through suicide, I could effectively bring my cost of living to $0.
Then, what passive income I will still earn can be used for purposes other than survival.
But how would I be able to direct this money from beyond the grave? What would stop someone from stealing it.
The perfect solution would be to write my brain into a computer program which would manage, invest, and spend my continously-earned money on things like supporting political campaigns for me. Sadly this dosen't exist.
What should I do?
>>1436917
The computer would still cost money, dumbass. You have to pay for maintenance and electricity.
What you should do is set up a foundation with very strict bylaws before killing yourself. Will all of your money to the foundation and it will then execute your will in accordance with its bylaws.
Paying people to run the foundation might end up costing more money than just keeping yourself alive, though.

Hi /biz/ I killed this fly and it sorta looks like it's dancing. Is there any way to profit off of this?
turn it into a protein supplement
Nope, because guess what buddy, you fucked up.
You uploaded your "original" dancing dead fly at the highest quality with no watermark.
I'm already building a conglomerate based on your "idea".
I'm talking to several manufacturing companies and they are already working on t-shirts and hats with your dancing fly on it, you're way too late buddy.
The share price of dead dancing flies is plummeting because of you, the dead fly business is fucked because of your little accident and I'm already selling my position
You think you can make profit off of this? I've already retired from your "art" Thanks cuck.

amazed at how someone could be so retarded?
I've discovered an economic paradox. If you allow the free market to set the value of educators, then their value is set low (probably) and then leftists who are bad at economics/making money fill those positions of educators and spread their doctrine of communism, however if you have government intervention to artificially increase the demand for educators and lower the supply then you will get people who are better equipped at seizing economic opportunity to fill those positions and those people will be, most likely, proponents of capitalism thus protecting our capitalistic system by instilling it into the minds of our young. The only way to assure the free market is to work against the free market.
>>1436732
except in general leftists earn more than righties.
so your grand theory falls apart. The left doesn't want communism, they're better capitalists than people that rabidly support capitalism.
the thing is rich people can afford to be decent humans. Poor people can't. So the rich often support "socialist" safety nets while poor people resent them. Despite the fact that poor people benefit from that "socialism."
>>1436740
>except in general leftists earn more than righties.
source on this
>>1436753
They don't, though it isn't a landslide in either direction. I think people may erroneously arrive at that conclusion based on the educational attainment statistics and the societal preference for professional work over the trades.
