Why aren't record stores more prevalent since its such a profitable business. I mean, all you have to do is win a few auctions on Ebay of lots of records and resell them. You practically buy them for cents and resell it for about $3. Sure it sounds too good to be true but I don't see a single downside to this.

Most record stores die for not being able to pay the rent. Successful ones tend to sell more 'pop' merchandise than actual records/cds.
