Sup guys
This girl I talk to online and that I text pretty often wants to meet me this week. She lives across the country and is willing to buy a plane ticket and stay at my house for a few days. I'm 19 and don't know how to ask my parents if its alright. I'm not really close with my family, I usually don't talk to them about personal matters. I could finally lose my virginity but dont how to discuss this with my parents, quite nervous too.

I started smoking weed about 2 and a half years ago. I smoked it on the regular, about 2 days a week increasing to near enough every single day up until last summer. In mid/late September I started taking MDMA more regularly. From September to late November my high felt a lot different, I felt more on edge and as if something wasn't right whilst stoned.

At the end of November found that if I smoked after using MDMA I felt very paranoid. I put this down to low blood sugar as when I felt this way I was always hungry. In the past this had happened whilst simply smoking weed. Stopped using both simultaneously but continued separately.

Since December I have found that whenever I am high, regardless of how much I have smoked I feel uncomfortable. My head feels strange and I feel the need to hold on to it otherwise I feel uneasy. It’s a strange sort of piercing feeling, not particularly painful but uncomfortable. If I am not occupying myself I get restless and agitated, my thoughts race and I am unable to simply relax. I always feel as if there is tension in the room.

Is this due to MDMA use or is it down to something else? I used to very much enjoy smoking weed but this problem has ruined it. Any advice would be helpful

Hey /adv/, I'm sick of spending my days behind a computer screen. How do I make friends and not be socially awkward. Not looking for a girlfriend or anything, but some good friends to hand out with. Have a good time and shit. I don't know where to start.

So, I live in a North American city, in a small enclave of Scandinavian immigrants and foreign offices for Scandinavian businesses.

My employer is offering to pay me to study a Scandinavian language. Since the classes will be free, I'd love to kill time learning a new language. My problem is, I don't know which one.

I don't have any Scandinavian heritage, and if I ever travel, I would be happy to visit any of the Nordic countries.

My options are Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish.

Which, in your opinion anons, will be most useful?

My girlfriend cheated. Our relationship is in a complicated place to begin with. She was in a four year open relationship (where the man didn't want things open, but put up with it because he loved her). I then entered the picture (experimenting with polyamory myself) and essentially stole her away into what we agreed to be a monogamous relationship. They lived together, and he flew across the country to be with her. He is now flying back, but a day before that, he came back to fix something in the apartment and they had sex. She told me that it was only for a few minutes, that she stopped it, and that she cried afterward feeling guilty for what she had done.

I've been having trouble justifying certain freedoms I've been giving up for the sake of our relationship and due to the abrupt nature of her break up and her new relationship with me, things have been mostly good, but sometimes really rocky.

When she told me what happened I felt somewhat relieved and broke it off because I had been having doubts prior, but she wants me back, and I'm realizing that I really miss her. The odd thing is that even though she did cheat, I am not all that angry about it. I'm barely angry and it feels like I'm using this as a reason to break up rather than it actively affecting me. Part of me wants to give it another chance because this reason doesn't feel like a genuine one to end things, but rather the easy one. I believe that if we can mend the issues we've been having then we can move on and have one of the best relationships of my life.

Advice?

What would you do if you were with someone and they left you for someone else and gave you the silent treatment? But they don't know ur on facebook watching them tell each other how they don't cheat?

Basically i paid her phone bill for this month then she stood me up on a date and hasn't responded to me since. Well when i paid her phone bill, i searched for her on Facebook so we had a way to keep in touch if her phone ever went out. Well i found out via Facebook that she stood me up for another guy that day, and just a few days later they did the "In a relationship" Facebook setting with each other and have been all lovey dovey with each other since.

She hasn't respond to my calls or texts, she has no idea I'm on her facebook right there hanging out silently with her and her new bf

I plan to write her a message on Facebook and/or send a letter to her house, and/or just show up and knock on her door (she has 5 kids)

At very least i would like an apology

so i was surfing imgur, and i came across a 4chan post about how this older brother had an amazingly hot little sister (15 if i can remember) and that they were best-friends when they were little. obv as he grew up he had to move out and she was extremely upset. but he can still go pick her up from school, and her friends thought that he was her boyfriend. anywho, later on in the story it tells us that he found inappropriate pictures of himself on his sisters phone when she left it to go to the bathroom at a icecream shop. then he was going to confront her tmr, but it stated "stay tuned" hinting it was in-progress. please help if you 4chan guys can find this for me!!!!

I'm very close to my best friend (we're both girls). Like we sleep together, bake together, watch anime, play co-op, go shopping etc. We've known each other since first grade. We are very affectionate. At the moment we have matching steam display pictures and our descriptions both say " my waifu" and it hyperlinks to each other's steam profiles.
