I've having a rough year, im a dropout NEET and my family has been pushing me to finish my studies, i have the tests in 3 weeks and if i actually tried i would neew to study a year of stuff by myself, the problem is that im bad at studying, i lack the attention to do so, the problem is that i like making music and i would like to spend all my life doing so, is it feasible for me to try and learn as much about music theory as i can without actually finishing my studies?
Should i just try and prepare as much as i can for my tests?
If there's also any other option i want to hear about it as long as it isn't killing myself.

I can't tell you how to prioritize your life, but if you do music as a career, or hobby, I have one piece of advice as a musician: do the fucking ear training. I'm a music theorist, and if you want to create music, it's more important that you can actually identify what you're hearing. Take the theory courses, but also take the ear training. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to pieces by amateurs who take music theory on their own, and write the most square and boring music, because they follow what they've learned to a T, and don't know how to follow their ear.

I am a relatively well situated person but live in Eastern Europe .Friends backing out of events/things because of financial problems is a very common problem and whenever it happens the usually supports or we all back out until the right time. Countless times we didn't go somewhere because someone had economic problems, one time we were planning a big journey across 2-3 neighbouring countries and a friend backed out because he was on a verge of losing his house to the bank

I've played too much videogames in my youth and fucked up my arm. Now if I use a gamepad more than an hour a day my right arm will hurt for days afterwards.

How do I deal with a depressed parent who refuses to get help?
My mom has had struggled with mental health issues all her life.
Now that my sister is leaving the house just like I did a year ago, she had started to get more depressed again. She won't take her medication, blames how she feels on family members and my sister and me and is emotional all the time.
When we try to give her advice on what she can do to feel better, such as having some activities to do other than doing housework all day, she always finds an excuse to not do it, saying her life will get worse soon anyway.
She's already talking to a psychologist but is really good at hiding her feelings..
How can I still help her without letting it affect me or my sister too much?

I'm currently in a field that doesn't have a lot of math, so that's a relief for me, because I'm not really good at it. I'm 21 but ever since I left High School, I just feel just dumb.
I feel like I need to know about algebra and stuff, not because my career requires that type of knowledge but because I think everyone should and maybe it wouldn't be such a struggle for me.
