chicken soup senpai. easy as fuck to make. Then take the chicken pieces from the soup and add pasta. Fry the chicken pieces in veg oil in a standard pan and put it on a plate. Add some rice and tomatoes and you will be fed well.
And grab a beer too.
Will do!! Thanks anon,
OK, teaching myself linear algebra today and I'm at a road block.
It says that if you look closely 9 >= 4x +1 becomes 3(4x+1)
How, I really understand how it became that
>>17694389
you multiply the whole inequality by 3 and get 27>=12x+3
You multiply both sides of the equation.
Keep in mind that you cannot do this with negative numbers since then the relation becomes false:
1<2
-1<-2 (this is false)
When I meet new people, I go too deep too quickly.
My approach when meeting new people:
>Initiate conversation.
>Find out general thing about the other.
>Make inferences about personality and interests. (via experience / general knowledge)
>Casually check assumptions.
>subtly steer conversation in that direction.
...that is where I hit a road block.
This works with older people / people who have a passion.
But doesn't work for most people.
>no real passion
>cannot go into such things
>not interested
example:
>I love fashion
>Oh really? What is your favourite designer?
>Well...don't know. Just follow some sweet instas.
>(if you know instas, it appears gay af)
>How do I learn to keep conversations going while at the same time going deeper?
>Stop being interested in people's interests and just go for quick grabs.
>Stop geeking out about everything? (music, art, fashion, science, drugs)
>>17694386
First, let's clear this up. You aren't going 'deep,' you're just asking questions that aren't fun at all.
From the example: what the fuck is there to talk about after you list the designers?
There's a lot more to fashion than saying whose designs are cooler.
The appropriate way to go about this is to leave open-ended questions.
>What do you like about fashion?
This seems more personal and opens to a wide range of topics.
Although you could argue that the first question could still lead to topics the person wants have a say in, it's a lot more difficult, and harder to express into words. Questions are meant to be easy to answer.
People aren't prone to spill their life in front of you with questions such as that. There's more to conversation than asking the right question. There's eye contact, body language, proper timing, etc.
>>17694409
Also, some people just suck at conversation. Two way street and all. Don't let all convos get to you - some aren't just meant
>>17694409
>>17694415
as someone who used to do what OP is doing, I can confirm this is correct.
A couple of nights ago a girl and I decided that we can't continue to be friends because I want a relationship and she isn't in a good place for one any time soon. It hurts.
We talked from 11:30 to 2:30 about the two of us, free will, love, fucked up family dynamics, and all sorts of other stuff. I enjoy her company so much. If she could commit or express an inkling of interest in it becoming a romantic relationship later on down the line, I could be friends with her. I really could. I don't have an overwhelming lust for her. I have an overwhelming affection for her. And that's why we can't be friends.
She's incapable of a relationship right now, and it hurts to think that her feelings for me couldn't trump that inability to be in a relationship. But at the same time, I guess I can find solace in the fact that her inability to be in a relationship is that strong.
She told me she's only had two boyfriends and even referred to me as the 3rd, despite us not being official or even kissing. I asked her if there was anyone else and she said that she was offended that I would ask something like that.
I... I don't know what to do. I need to move on and I'm going to. I just feel sick.
I can't say that I've ever found a connection this strong with someone before. And it hurts that she's unable to explore it with me.
I don't really have a question for you guys. Feel free to tell me how dumb I am or offer support or whatever.
Grab her by the pussy.
Bump I guess
Bump I guess
how do you guys deal with phone addiction of your gfs? mine is almost always using it and I am getting seriously mad at her for that reason... what to do?
>pic undelated
>>17694359
what is she using it for?
>>17694363
internet: facebook and texting almost all the time
>>17694365
Find a girl who doesn't live her life through a screen. I, personally, wouldn't put up with it. I can't stand when people spend every waking moment looking at their phone and not the world happening around them.
Don't expect her to change. In the end she'll probably choose her fake internet life over her real life with you. Find someone you're more compatible with.
Do you ever get tired of pretending to like the things in your life
>my job
>my university
>my extracurriculars
If anyone asks I have to reply that yeah wow it's great but the truth is I despise all 3 of these things equally. Is that normal?
Not really, because I like them. And I like them because I'm not doing them for the wrong reasons.
>>17694308
I never pretended.
You just go men and do it because it is simply a means to and end.
idk if you'd call it normal. it's common. but it's not ideal.
let's look at each one.
job is a means to an end as the other anon said. how long do you plan to continue in your current line of work? if you're going to be graduating and switching careers soon, try to ride it out. if you still have a couple years before graduating, try and find a different job. you might like it more. andeven if that one ends up sucking too, many people have a "honeymoon period" where the first few months of the job is more fun because they're still learning it.
university is a temporary thing. if you really can't stand your major anymore and you think you want to change majors, talk to your advisor, because that needs to be addressed. but if it's just university life itself getting you down, that can be pretty common. personally I loved the extra freedom of it, but other than that I hated college. but it's only temporary. and once you're out, you're out.
extracurriculars are your decision. that's why they're extracurriculars. if you don't like them, why do them? I used to feel bad about quitting extracurricular clubs and stuff, but then I realised it is more foolish to continue doing an activity that you don't like and don't have to do. if it's an extracurricular that is essential to your graduation or your career, then find out if there's a different way to fulfil that requirement.
tackle the problems one at a time and it'll be much easier to make your life more enjoyable.
if you've done all these things and it doesn't work, or if you don't have the energy or the will to do them, then consider that you might be suffereng from burnout or exhaustion, possibly depression. in that case, you should see a doctor.
hope this helps OP. working and going to school at the same time can be very tiring for some people. remember, if you really don't like something and you don't have to do it, don't do it.
Lying on the bed for 3.5 hours, have no idea how to make myself to do something. Help me, anon, I have a lot to do.
Holy shit are you me? I've been daydreaming for the past 3 hours instead of doing work...
>>17694253
>>17694257
I just got fired from a job, laying here in my bed listening to Korns new album high as fuck, kind of anxious bc i can't get another job BC if drug tests
>>17694269
Why the hell did you take drugs then.
Before you call me a cuck, I know. Lets move past it.
My boyfriend hooks up with other women for sex. It makes us both happy, and it works for us. Mostly it's just random girls.
I've got this one friend who I know thinks my bf is hot. She's single and attractive, but pretty straight-laced and conservative. I really want her to get with my bf. How do I make this happen?
>>17694235
Your boyfriend is the luckiest man on the face of whatever country you both live in, I mean like so lucky that it is the equivalent of being shot in the head, have stage 4 cancer, born blind and death, and got paralyzed in a car crash, and then waking up with all that cured out of nowhere, that is how lucky he is,
Anyhow, for your question, just tell that you are giving her a chance to fuck your boyfriend that she likes for 1 night, and she will just be there, and that should do it
>>17694235
Maybe lie to her and say you guys broke up and that he's all hers. But that'll cause problems if she gets emotionally attached.
You could make a move on her...
Nvm my ideas are shit.
Just go up to her with him and ask if she's interested and when she says yes say, "he's all yours tonight"
WHY

I need some advice friends.
>Split with ex about seven months ago.
>Have been talking a little on and off throughout that time.
>I end up telling ex that I very much so am still in love with them and would like to get back with them.
>They seem somewhat open to the idea.
>last night ex gets in touch.
>Pleasant chat leads to sexting.
>Ask them if they are still open to trying again.
>Told 'possibily, one step at a time, get your new job first'
Is the ex just fucking with me or what? I've bene trying to move on but times like this resets that progress and makes me think like there is still hope?
>>17694189
>Is the ex just fucking with me or what?
I think it doesn't matter what is on your exes mind because you are the one who keeps leaving the door open. Trying to analyze their behavior is a pretty useless exercise.
>I've bene trying to move on
Staying in contact and telling them you're in love with them is not trying to move on. Its obvious that your ex is ambivalent at best about getting back with you so you have to make your choice.
Cut contact and move on or keep trying to get back with them and reside yourself to living in limbo.
wait do you want to get back together or not? Are you trying to move on or are you still in love with her??? You are beyond confused. Do not ever get back.
>>17694204
Theres a big part of me wants to get back together but I didnt think they were open to it but seem like they moight be. Although at the same time im sure my friends and family would hate me if i did.
Im not so much beyond confused as I am torn
So I was messaging back and forth with a girl on a dating site - things were going well, but I haven't had the time to properly reply to her last message (it's super long), and she reached out and said "I must have scared you off." I wrote back immediately, saying I was looking for the time to reply back, and she seemed okay with it.
So it's been about a week since the message, and I was planning on replying today (I work Monday - Friday, I've been out of town on a trip most of the week, etc.). She writes me some angsty thing about how I'm clearly not interested and that I'm just like all men, and it's a shame because she was enjoying talking to me, but goodbye.
Should I write back, apologize, and reply to her message, or write this girl off as crazy?
Sounds a bit crazy in a needy/suspicious way.
Shed be the kind of person that will toss your shit on the curb if you are running late and your phone died so you cant reply to her text asking where you are.
Write her back. She just sounds insecure and wants to make sure you won't screw her over. If you like her, write her, because she'll be waiting.
>>17694182
Dude, you haven't texted her back in a week?!
Just text her back and apologize.
Maybe you shouldn't be looking for a girlfriend if you literally cannot even find the time to text back a girl that's interested in you.
I've met this girl, she's incredible and the best part is that we're having a really intimate relationship. But now I'm having troubles with erection so it makes the whole thing embarrassing, everything started since I was taking these pills. Have you experienced this? Is there any way to recover sexually?
just switch to another antidepressant
>>17694179
This happened to me just like you and it stayed even after I quit Zoloft. Very slowly it got better but Zoloft will fuck your dick up man. Hope things get better. Viagra helped a lot.
This is why I got off antidepressants. I was just taking a generic sertraline for like...3 months? But once I found out what happens to your dick I was gone. The prospect of my dick not working honestly would make me want to off myself.
Would rather be miserable most of the day that deal with that for life.
>flirt with a cute girl for 20 minutes
>She seems interested
>Say I gotta go and offer to swap numbers
>Says she has a new phone and doesn't know her phone number
>K
>She prints a piece of paper and tells me to write my number down for her
>Give it to her and leave
>Been 24 hours since
Yeah I made a thread yesterday, but I just want to ask if any femanons have legitimately done this and actually contacted the guy? I know there's little hope but I've heard this so many times so I'm curious
>>17694146
anonette here
No, I have never done it because I'm not a retard and I know how to check my phone number, even if I didn't know what it was.
Also, why wouldn't she just text you from her phone? derp
Anyway, chances are she's not gonna contact you or is leaning towards not doing it.
>>17694155
Yeah I figured. But she really did seem to like me so I'm just a little surprised. When she said she had a new phone and didn't know her number I kinda gave a disappointed look and she quickly gave me paper and pen and said I'd definitely hear from her. Id like to believe she was telling the truth but its been a day so probably not.
I understand women are lying bitches, but Christ man. Why even bother having me write it down.
>>17694155
When we talked she also said she was looking for someone to share her feelings with and shes only got her sister. We talked about how people suck and its hard to find d people to relate to.
And that she doesnt have many friends
And she mention her EX-boyfriend
I mean like cmon man if those aren't obvious signs I don't know what are.
To cut it short I'm basically terrified of the idea of being put on meds. Do they even work? I'm afraid I'll become dependent on them or that they'll make me become an asshole to my friends
>>17694138
2/3 succesfull, half of wich is placebo.
non addictive, but dont stop from high dose. Peronality changes are usually not serious. side effects means you switch to another variant. maybe dry mouth or headache. first 2 weeks sometimes restless feeling and increased chance of suicide, especially in adolescent male, negated with benzodiazepines.

Just smoke weed please

This is a bit different from other threads but wondering what I can do to put on weight.
>26
>161cm tall
>61 pounds
Im skinny and woukd like to start putting on some weight ti fill myself out more, particularly my face. Any advice?
>>17694130
>>61 pounds
That can't be right?
>>17694135
Thats what my weighing scale shows but may be off. I just checked there and got 56 pounds, granted i was only in my pants this time.
>>17694149
What country are you from?
lbs is USA, kg is everywhere else.
I work in a warehouse, and we ship in these big plastic Pelican cases. We have to clean the sticker residue and shit off of them when they're returned. Our boss has severe OCD and when he saw that the stockpile of cases still had the outline of stickers and stuff, he flipped his shit. Now I'm in charge of cleaning all ~300 of them.
What the fuck is the proper procedure for this? We spray them with Goof-Off, scrape and pressure wash them, but you can still see sticker imprints because of how the fucking case is weathered around the sticker, but he wants them gone. I don't know what to do.
>>17694104
Quit your job and get one where your boss isn't as much of an ass.
>>17694104
try some try of strong solvent or just fucking quit
>>17694104
Ask your boss the proper procedure to do this via hands on presentation since he's the one with fucking OCD.
