Why did Ledouche have to ruin something so beautiful?
(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)
A few decades has passed since mankind won the hundred year war.
While exploring the ruins you fall down a shaft and land into an underground passage.
Upon further inspection you realize that you're surrounded by Cellphones, sentient beings that devour the flesh of the living.
You try not to disturb them, but it's too late.
>MC is an otaku NEET loser
>he is obsessed with this one battle harem show
>he likes this one girl who he dubs as the best girl
>and he absolutely despises this one girl who he calls the worst
>he shitposts about how much he hates her on 2ch all day
>one day he somehow wakes up in this shows universe with a battle academy invite in his hand
>it's the first episode
>knowing the show inside out, he makes it to the battle academy to enroll
>to his horror, everybody in the harem ignores/hates him since they all wants the harem MC's dick
>everybody except the worst girl
ITT: Best foul-mouthed kid archetype
>and then everyone died, the end
Basically just this and Shiki, plus Psycho Pass S1 and Shinsekai Yori if you're feeling generous. Zankyou no Terror and Cowboy Bebop are bittersweet, but not quite "unhappy".
I'd be happy seeing more tragedies, if only the studios were willing to risk it.
Why did he wait until they were all done stabbing Hinamori to shout about it?
I'm watching the anime, and it's honestly not that interesting. Most people talk about Part 3, and I heard that Part 2 is good, but I don't hear anything about Part 1. Is it really THAT important?
You're given the task of creating a plot for a romance anime. What do you come up with?
What do Mami's breasts feel like?
Pic related is the only animu I recall with much fondness, since it got me into programming at a young age. My perception of weeb shit in general is otherwise that it's insufferable.
So, bearing all of that in mind, what am I missing? What is the appeal that I fail to "get"? Can anybody take a crack at explaining it?
There's nothing to get. Either you like it or you don't.
Dismissing a whole medium without a particular reason is pretty retarded though. I don't like heavy metal but that doesn't mean I don't like music.
2D girls are hotter than 3D girls. People will try and come up with all sorts of other reasons, but it all comes down to that.
What did Anime teach us in 2016?
Is this the 'Big Bang Theory' of anime?
Just started and its downright impressive how every other line is a reference either to another anime or at least to something from Lovecraft and friends.
I like it, as an avid Lovecraft fan its fun mindlessness.
Fair point. I was shocked at how on point the references seemed to be. If I didn't have like 5 other LNs on my backlog I'd probably give this one a read.
Does the show wrap up to the end of the story? I noticed there were at least two seasons.
This year blessed us with Freyja, Galko, Pikari, Papika and Luluco just to name a few.
Post the ones you like best. Faces, crops, kornheisers, whatever as long as they're 2016 fresh.
Who would win a fight to the death. That loser Goku or me Vegeta, the greatest of all Saiyans?
Can it be adapted properly?
