In your games, do all players share the same loot in a big money pile, or do they keep track of their moneys independently?
I was wondering, because we tend to the first one, with players organizing ourselves to decide what we should buy next, but I realized recently that all games enforce the independent wealth system.

In my experience, most players don't want to share except, perhaps, on things that all clearly benefit. Attempts to unify wealth were a disaster. It fits the "individuals are special" that many of us want from RPG instead of being a nobody in real life.

Death Watch army player here.
Death Watch Marines are 'acquired' from the various chapters via the Ordo Xenos to go on 'the long vigil'. This is a set time in which the Marine will be a Death Watch member. Once the vigil is over and the Marine isn't dead, he is allowed to return to his chapter of origin, never to speak of his missions during his time in the Deathwatch with anyone within his own chapter. He is allowed to keep wearing his Deathwatch pauldron because he's badass enough to not only join the Deathwatch, he's badass enough to return as a Marine rather than 2 pieces of Geneseed.

Sideboard tech is blood moon. Every deck that can should run 3 in the sideboard, if you're not you're putting yourself at a disadvantage desu, it shuts down so many decks.

I like alignments as tangible cosmic forces to be aligned with for power or because of character conviction. Chaos vs Law offers a simple cosmic battle for players to get invested in. Alignment sucks when it becomes the only defining personality trait a character has and sole vague motivation.
