Alright /pfg/ asking again since this is (You)'re chance to get some smut of an AP waifu.
What AP waifu would you like to see get dicked my OC?

none
Hey /tg/. I recently was given a Tempestus Scion kit by a family member who knew I was into WH40K. I personally play Mechanicus, and was wondering if I used some spare Skitarii bitz to make the Scions more Mechanicus looking, would I be able to fluff them as the older Fluff's Tech Guard. Just wondering /tg/'s thoughts on the look as well as any suggested paint schemes.
Some other angles of the sergeant.
I'll note this is my first kitbash, so if anyone has any suggestions, I will gladly take them.
I dont think it's a bad idea personally, only worry is that the pose is a bit lame. Also I have a question that's semi unrelated, how do the skitarii heads (both varieties) line up size wise compared to space marine and scion heads?
Why does she wear her underwear over her head Edition

Any Guard players got any thoughts on improving this list for 2000 points?
Versus mainly Craftworld Eldar and Tau.
Anyone ever used the Zone Mortalis rules in 40k? How did it go?
What should the racial stats for deer people be?
+2 DEX
-2 INT
>>52239284
I would do +2 dex -2 cha. Deer are pretty smart, and that is why they are so skittish

+10 to delicious checks.

Somewhere between 3 and 1, I guess. Not sure how much over 300 quintillion years of training and technological and magical advancement can get you.
Sup /tg/, I'm curious. How would you do a Digimon-styled game? With the actual characters not being much more than moral support for the giant monsters that can become bigger monsters with loads of guns strapped on.
use a generic ruleset like FATE or what not
build the digimons as creatures. build the PCs as refluffed mages with only buffing spells and come up with some convoluted digital resource that is spent on buffing digimons like they did in Tamers with the cards and shit
not sure on how to handle digivolution tho. maybe keep track of 'evolution points' that are gained slowly (i.e. equivalent to one Champion digivolution/day, Ultimate takes 3 days worth of points, Mega takes 10 days or something). but aside from that Digimons should level up normally by gaining XP and this makes every form get stronger, reflecting the original series
>>52238614
Use Monsters and Other Childish Things.
If you are worried about the human quickly becoming useless why not have them be their digimon; like in Tamers or Frontier.
Hello /tg/
We've had this discussion before... numerous times. But I'd like a discussion about your opinions regarding class-based systems (like D&D) vs non class-based systems.
Specifically which you prefer AND what your first roleplaying game you played had. Does it feel too constrained with classes or is it just a more efficient way to get the party to have defined roles? Are classes only useful for more combat focused game?
I'd like to hear your thoughts.
I have no strong preference. I tend to optimize. In class based system picking up the right class is just one of the steps for a strong build so it really makes no difference.
Existence of classes may give appeal of false diversity (as in - one class rolls with Dex bonus while the other with Str or Cha bonus, otherwise being effectively the same), that's usually a plus with newcomers, making them easier to manage without making them feel like they are being generalized.
>>52238514
Typical Pro-skub scum, unable to properly articulate the "positive" qualities of their crutch and thus having to resort to violence.
People love to label themselves and identify with a class/group. Players gravitate towards classes.
If you want a game to be popular/played, you gotta have classes.
Lets make a vampire conspiracy /tg/. Anything goes
>>52238315
Cool.
One faction of old school vamps want to return themselves to top of the foodchain by engineering an economic apocalypse that plunges the world into chaotic balkanised states by engineering a energy crisis through a magical ritual to corrupt oil reserves.
>>52238401
Would there be any other factions? Like maybe a vampire shadow government that wants to gain total control through blackmail and work in the shadows?
>>52238489
The old school faction remember hunting free-range humans as apex predators, or believe the old stories, but they aren't the kind to handle manipulating humanity, so they create modern-thinking proxies and go-betweens, who probably like modern society just the way it is and some defect.
So you have a faction who are plotting society destabilising terrorist acts to create global anarchy, another trying to create a fascist hierarchy of control and panopticon to control everything and disappear anyone who can fight them and prepper type vampires who are getting ready for whatever goes down.
What their second colours will be? Maybe Azorius and Orzhov?
If they have second colors, which I doubt. She will be orzhov and he will be boros
>>52238264
Kaladesh decks also have monocolored walkers and they have turn out to be boros and simic
>>52238255
They are not Ravnica characters nor are these decks Ravnica themed, so no they will not be Azorius or Orzhov.
What system would you use for a game set in the Witcher universe where the party would consist of Witchers, Wizards, and other exceptional type people?
>>52237343
>where the party would consist of Witchers, Wizards
That would be kinda boring to play as a bunch of superpoweful snowflakes in the Witcher setting

Is alchemy (as in the potion-brewing sort, not transmutation) a subset of magic, or is it more akin to chemistry or some other school of science?
>>52236389
Depends on the setting, but here's my take:
It's a science, but the science of magic. So where adding sulfuric acid in varying amounts can either make an organic reaction go or rip apart your molecule, adding 300g of wyvern tooth shavings will cause the potion to be one of wyvern intelligence, not strength.
>>52236494
>It's a science, but the science of magic
This.
The scientific method applied to supernatural forces.
>>52236538
This is my perferred take on it.
Where you might have your typical wizards who join weird cults or maybe even religious types alchemist and Scholars apply the scientific method to magic sort of like how you have Shaman and Mages in Shadowrun
What are some /tg/ games will Excellent Fluff, but awful crunch?
>>52236329
Exalted springs to mind.
>>52236329
Shadowrun. I wouldn't call it excellent or even good but it just does something that nothing else really does. The rules make it a fucking nightmare to get people into though.
>>52236329
If you play any of these shit armies, we will bully you to death Edition

Did somebody say feedback?
>>52236328
I can't bring myself to hate any ork player because they're normally a barrel of laughs to play against. Even if you end up stomping them. I unironically hope the army gets better in 8th.
As SM, is it worth allying in an Astra Militarum Platoon as a meatshield?
I was searching for weird and/or interesting stuff to base a setting on for a run of the mill fantasy campaign but with a new coat of paint. Can I just say how awesome early Abrahamic lore was even from the perspective of a fedora like myself?
The Cosmology (pic related) has so much you can do with it that would be atypical of standards fantasy. You got terrifying trippy angels, a creepy tangible spiritual Underdark that is also maybe a monster or womb of the world with a will of it's own, the primordial dark sea that existed before the universe that could have horrifying pre-creation shit in it.
What ancient stuff do you guys wish people stole from more?
I wouldn't call the Bible underappreciated when it comes to inspiration.
