the dunning kruger effect seems to occur when people are overly confident in their abilties while not being good at the subject.
this fits me very well. i have pushed away countless friends and aquaintances by arguing on mattes i simply do not understand.
although i was disillusioned, i can also blame other people for never telling me.

I know this feeling all to well. I have wised up since then and taking steps to control my "knowledge" outbursts. It is hard it truly really is.
