The only reason I haven't offed myself yet is because I know that I will inevitably receive an inheritance in the millions.
This past week, my parents wired money through my bank account in such a way as to reduce their tax burden. This past week, over 100k$ passed in and out of my bank account in specific patterns.
This isn't the only time something like this has happened. I once found a lockbox containing 200k$ in cash in my house. I couldn't fucking believe it. I told my dad, and I said that whatever you guys are doing, you should hide that money in a better spot. I was gobsmacked when he told me that there was actually another lockbox around the house with x3 as much. My mom was making 500k a month at times before the 2008 financial crisis. She owned a finance firm, managing 50 employees. That's not even counting what my dad does.
My parents are rich. I'm not. I'm poor. I have less than 400$ to my name. I have severe social anxiety and despite my formal educational success, I've been rejected in the work-world, because it's never about what you actually do, but how others perceive you.
The entire reason that I push myself forward in life and study the things that I study is because I know that my parents will inevitably die, and I will receive my inheritance. That's literally it. I know how to invest and manage real estate, paper assets, etc.
I will never make as much money as my parents did. I don't think that I'll ever see that much money in my bank account by my own accord, ever. Not until my parents die. The feelings that seeing all that money elicited such an intense range of emotions within me. What struck me the most is just the feeling of renewed resolve to keep living. Just knowing how many numerous ways I could truly live my life.
Instead of focusing on mindfulness and minimalism, I could live a hedonistic life. Instead of being trapped, I could be free.
I will wait my turn, no matter how many years, so help me god.

I'm 18.
I attend a State University during the week and work at a movie theatre on weekends.
I'm not sure what I'm majoring in, considering Architecture desu.
My hobbies include weight training, browsing 4chan, watching anime, playing vidya, and running.
A new hobby I plan to pick up is playing the guitar, I just bought one for a couple hundred and it will ship on Friday.
My short term goals are to finish the summer semester at my uni with A's, and to get into the habit of going to the gym 6 times a week.
My long term goals are to graduate with a Master's or even a PhD in something and to buy a comfy house for myself near a big city but close to nature as well. And to visit Japan.
I watch anime, and I loved Hunter x Hunter and Death Note. Please give me a recommendation on what to watch.
What's been bugging me lately is the loneliness. I have two robot friends but I barely see them because they attend community college and I'm so damn busy with school and work all the time. Tons of stuff seasonally for the last few years. My favorites this season are Tsurezure Children, Isekai Shokudou, and Made in Abyss. Watching about 20 series altogether though. Thought that once I started this training thing, which is 5 days a week, 7 hours a day, I wouldn't be able to watch as much anime, but so far I haven't had any problems watching my usual 20+ shows at a time since it averages out to only a few per day.
