Hey! I want to buy a camara but I just 700 bucks, I was thinking about the canon rebel t6 but the reviews are not good.
What camara do you recomend me and why?
Also do you think the t6 is a good option?
>>3067980
if you gotta ask and you're new then a t6 will do you fine for a fair fucking while
>>3067980
post some iphone pictures you've taken of landscape or food or some shit. that will help us know what kind of photographer you are.
>>3067998
Thanks you anon what camara do you recommend me?
Just bought a Nikkor (55-200 VRII F/4-5.6G ED) for my D3300, made some test shots and it randomly does this weird shit - the photos look like they're made of two displaced layers or something like that. The camera wasn't shaking, the VR was on.
Never saw my basic kit glass doing anything similar to this.
Is it some flaw of this single particular lens? Should I return it?

are you sure that you used a fast enough shutter time?
>>3070838
>1/125 sec
Do you even lift, son?
>>3070838
>1/125th
>195mm equivalent
Rule of thumb is to never shoot a shutter speed slower than the focal length without a tripod especially with longer FL's. You can get away with slow speeds on hyper-wides and sometimes ultrawides.
>tfw the more cameras i own, the less i take pictures
what the fuck is wrong with me?
You're stuck in that classic consumer trap of trying to have what you want, rather than want what you have. Strip down, man. One lens, one camera. Get something you'll want to carry, and then carry it.
>>3070451
i have this problem too. i have too many cameras and not sure what to use. i have two film slrs, a dslr and a point and shoot. I have like 6 lens.

I gave my autistic neighbor a shitty digital point and shoot. She takes better photos than most of what I see from "pros" To answer your question, you hardly need the cognitive ability required to press the shutter.

Bravo, Sony. Releasing the exact same shit with less features for more money, truly the best work separating retards from their cash to date.
All controls done entirely by USB, truly revolutionary in scamming.

Hi guys, I bought 40 Ektachrome 160T, 35mm expired since November 1999. I shoot one "as it", and my picture turned blue. The other one was cross processed in C-41 chemicals, and one (overexposed) turned kind of fine...
Here is my -maybe stupid- solutions for a E-6 process
- shooting by closing of 2 diaph, since it's expired since end of 1999.
- shooting normally but with a red filter to compensate and see what effect could it add.
Should I shoot it at 25 iso ? 50 ? Could it change the blue fog in pictures ?
Sorry if my English is bad, obviously not my native language...

that xpro looks incredible.
Tu peux facilement virer cette teinte bleu de ton tirage en post.
Aussi, arrête de perdre ton temps avec des films expirés, c'est presque un meme.
>shooting normally but with a red filter to compensate and see what effect could it add.

Be honest are you a shill?

How does one make Crewdson style photography without 60,000$ and hundreds of people at their disposal?
Also what's p's genuine opinion on Gregory Crewdson?
>>3069514
idk m8 just start small. do you know anything about studio lighting? if so, come up with some ideas, find a location that'll give you permission to shoot there, get a couple b800's and a battery pack to light your location, a couple small strobes for fill, and a couple models. there you have it, everything you need to make a small crewdson production (minus his vision, experience, and skillset, of course.)
If you can't afford lights, start looking around town for some interesting lighting. You'll find it if you keep an eye out.
Craigslist is your friend as far as free props go. I got rid of my car and replaced it with a cheap pickup truck so I can pick up free furniture whenever I find it.
If you have vision you can make the idea a reality

Do you consider retouched pictures as "true" photography?

not really, I guess I consider it as something like film making. Photography is used in this area but it isn't of course photography because more than that art is needed. Same with retouched pictures.
>>3068868
sure
photography isnt really art anyway, so why not
anything outside what Daido did or would do, is fake photography.
Pitted my SMC Pentax-F 50mm F1.7 against my SMC Pentax-F 35-70mm F3.5-4.5 — both cheap film-era lenses from the 1990's. Naturally, I matched settings to 50mm on the 35-70mm and maintained the aperture at f/8 for both (should be around the sharpest setting for most lenses, certainly one of the most practical general settings).
>>3068423
Any differences that I can discern between the two of them are negligible. The 35-70 performed almost just as well as the 50 did — at least at that focal length; It was also comparable at 70mm, though lacking in picking up finer details (like dust). Overall, and in any real-world scenario, I'd say the performances between the two pieces of glass are about on-par.
>>3068423
>>3068425
The 50mm is a tad sharper with a tad faster autofocus and is a faster lens, but that's to be expected with a prime lens.
>>3068423
>>3068425
>>3068426
The 35-70 is slightly less-sharp with a slightly poorer autofocus and is a slower lens, but provides zoom functionality throughout the normal focal lengths.
