nobody gives a shit
>>3068320
and yet you answered, fag.
>>3068311
who?
He's like me I do everything for free cause what's the point of begging for scraps at $40 per hour or whatever when I can do $500 per hour at my job and keep this just as a hobby!
I have FF top gear and just use it to show off to girls I guess.
>>3068378
yeah but the thing is that he doesnt have a job where he can, as you wrote, do $500 dollar per hour. I have a full-time job but I can't afford a Leica M10 with a f/1.4 50 mm lens.
You know you can have other jobs, right?
Maybe he talked a hole in Leica's head to be their "brand rep / champ" on JewTube. Free cameras...
>>3068398
ofc you can have other jobs but according to his instagram, the only "job" he has is doing speecheds at courses and learning ppl photography. But again, I don't think those jobs pay enough to buy a $6,895.00 camera & $3,895.00 lens.

I'd like to solve
What is their dumbass right wing parents letting that happen to themselves?
>>3069036
Once upon a time they had a well-earned reputation for making very high quality cameras. Leica's were *the* photojournalism camera. If you were a journalist, reporter, artist etc between 1950 and 1970s you had a Leica. Then SLRs became popular (and arguably objectively better) and Leica has been riding their reputation ever since.
>>3069039
I would say that a Leica M is hands down the best 35mm shooters camera. They are only really surpassed by SLRs for using studio w/ strobes, lenses longer than 90mm, macro, and or dead accurate edge to edge composition. But even most consumer SLRs are not good for edge to edge composition because of the 95-97% finder, usually only a few pro SLRs gave you a 100% finder.
Digital Leicas priced themselves out of the average shooter market, and because of the engineered obsolescence of Digi, used doesn't make sense while a 60yo film M3 is still still quite usable.
I saw the live unboxing where he said he didn't pay full price because he knows someone who works for Leica.

could he be-
*focuses manually*
could it be possible-
*adjusts manual ISO dial*

*sets shutter speed*

The best selling leica only sold 220,000 units. That is not even close to be widespread. Leicas were always rare, low selling cameras. Pros clung to their medium format cameras until SLRs took over in the late 60s. Just look at old photos or movies from the era and rarely anybody had Leicas.
>>3068311
How do your pronounce 'Leica' anyway?
lay-ka?
lie-ka?
>>3070589
pa-na-so-nic
>>3070596
kek
>>3070589
I don't think there are equivalents in the English language, actually.
"Eiffel" has the same "ei"...but then Americans probably pronounce it as "aifell tower" so that's no help.
>>3070589
Neither are 100% accurate but it's closer to lie-ka than lay-ka.
>>3070589
It's La-I-Ka you idiot
>>3070589
La-ee-kah
