question to fellow autists. why don't we have a legit board tan?
Why does /k/ have a boner over this gun
I don't. I'd rather have an m14 no matter how supposedly worse it is.
>>34611163
Yes.
>>34611163
What's so bad about the M14?
The only thing I can think of is the big fucking exposed op rod
What is the most obscure pistol to conceal carry? Practicality is optional.

/k/'s favorite boots to go innawoods with, my personal favorite is Danner Pronghorn hunting boots, how about y'all
>>34609734
I wear these.
>>34609734
probably some kind of snicker shoes lol
i once spent a couple of months on a rocky desert island (a scientific expedition) using some similar high boots and i hate that crap since that, they are very inconvenient to climb, hard for your feet and eventually they tear apart too
>>34609734
I don't know about 'favorite' since I have only owned a few pair in my life. I currently wear a pair of Georgia Boot Diamond Trax, and they've been pretty good to me. Last time I wore them out, I got a little bit of rub on the ball of my foot, but after a year of regular wear, that's not a major criticism.
I'm thinking about picking up a new pair sometime after these get too worn out, so I'd love to see more suggestions.

Next week I'm ordering a WASR from atlantic, 5 more steel mags, another type 81 chest rig, and another case of golden tiger.
Didnt see these mentioned in any of the pasties
so, can /gq/ recommend me a good set of shooting gloves that wont wear out in a year?
>>34609693
With heavy use all gloves will fail, funny enough though the gloves that held up the best for me was nomex flight gloves, the only time they got serious damage was being in the desert and baking in the sun, they hardened up. With a few washes they are back to normal. Shrunk only a little. Survived a few years.

does anyone carry a CZ82? 83? I'm torn between getting an 82/83 and putting some money into it or just getting a PCR.
>>34607569
>that feeling when you just missed the cz82 restock on classicfirearms :^(
Is it me or are the mag release buttons really stiff on the CZ82s?
I feel like I have to adjust my grip to get decent leverage on it all the time.
I own a handful of surplus CZs and the mag releases are fucking brutal>>34607628
Weapons/prototypes that aren't realy that great or usefull but you love them. Any weapon as long as it was built

gee bill
how come your mom lets you have FOUR tracks?
Post your SKS(s), ask questions, do whatever.
I picked this SKS-D up the other day and it's basically unused from what I can see/was told. Problem is a few of my steel surplus mags don't fit easily/at all when loaded, but will fit fine when un/underloaded. Anyone else experience this or know what can be done to correct it?
They tend not to lock in full loaded unless you hold the action open, nothing you can do about it. Also if the locking tab on the mag is too thick it's not going to lock. I have one and actually have just stuck with those cheap-ass Korean mags, they lock in and run fine
>>34604960
It's weird because i have about 9 of these mags, 4 lock in flawlessly while loaded, two seem to be a little finicky and 3 just won't lock in at all. They're all Euro mags.
>>34604992
That's weird, I have one magazine and it works flawlessly every single time I use it.
>Opting for removable magazines on arguably the best clip-fed gun.
Yikes-a-roni pilaf.
how did I do /k/? just bought it off a Royal Naboo Guard for 400 credits, I've tried blasting some womp rats and it works fine
It's a nice pistol, I guess.
Honestly I would've invested in a Bryar pistol. Little more expensive but totally worth it.
>>34604357
This.
Bryars are nice.
>Falling for the handsome smuggler with a big gun meme
You could have gotten a decent blaster like a DL-18 for almost the same price.
Springfield Commander Edition, post your favorites and next purchase
how good are the cheap RIAs?
I like 1911s but don't want to spend over 700 on one
>>34603689
They are garbage, get a Ruger at minimum.
>>34603661
I have that one. It's fine.

When I was a younger man I kept a sawed off wooden broomstick with an electrical tape handle in my backpack. I had no business with it, but it was a great easy improv weapon.
>>34600263
When I was in middle school, I got lost in a crafts store looking for stuff for a school project. I found these huge plastic beads shaped liked little 40w bulbs, but must've been twice as big and very heavy. I bought one and taped it to a piece of printer paper I folded over and over again to give it a flat handle. Then I wrapped the whole assembly in heavy duty duct tape. My first ever EDC item: a homemade folding baton. I carried that thing everywhere. I showed someone after school and when I gave it to him to look at, he hit me with it (it worked! and hurt a lot) and told me that it was his booty-whipper now. He threw it away after I ran for it trying to save my ass, and thinking back he probably did me a huge favor. Been looking for a telescopic baton since but never settled on one. Rather just stick with my knives and swords.
I've always liked the idea/ aesthetic of a baseball bat. However, it's not really something you can carry around in most situations. Also, wooden vs. aluminum, I have no clue what is better.
Because the last one hit the bump limit edition

Hi Point did.
Does anyone know if there's an actual legal limit to how much ammunition and firearms you can transport on the interstate?
