Where would you go if you had a knife and an angry pitbull in front of you?
>>35180269
stab it? what kind of question is this?
its a dog, at max its 60lbs and can be killed by the average man with bare hands.
also dogs dont get "angry", they are threatened and attack out of fear.

>Walther WA2000 WA 2000 Bullpup Sniper 1 of only 15
>Rarest of the Rare, Unfired, As Issued in its Case
>ULTRA RARE, THE RAREST OF THE RARE, THE HOLY GRAIL FOR ANY FIREARM COLLECTOR ... This auction is for one (1) unfired, as issued in its original serialized (matching) aluminum case, CARL WALTHER GmbH SPORTWAFFEN WA 2000 Bullpup Sniper Rifle in .308 WIN (7.62 x 51 mm NATO). This is a legendary, if not mythical, rifle, so rarely seen much less available for purchase.
>But, it gets even better ... the winner of this auction actually has his/her choice of purchasing a Walther WA 2000 in either .308 WIN (as detailed above) or in 300 Winchester Magnum!! As shown in the photos, I have both variants of this incredibly rare rifle, representing 2 of only 15 that are in this country -- most of which are, and will remain, in private collections. The WA 2000 in 300 WIN MAG also comes with its original Schmidt & Bender 2.5–10x scope, two (2) original 6-round detachable box magazines (nearly impossible to find a spare magazine for this rifle), original sling and original bipod (attached to the rifle -- note that the bipod was a factory accessory that was not issued with the rifle in its standard configuration but could be added at an extra cost, which is the case with this rifle), all in its original serial number-matched aluminum case.
>Could this get any better? You might think not, but it does. I also have what is arguably the rarest accessory of all for this rifle ... an original Carl Zeiss ORION 80 night vision scope, as issued in its original protective case that would have been paired with this rifle.

what is wrong with gb listers. yes this is rare. 72k? wtf.
>implying any of us have money
holy shit
is the acog a meme sight
IMHO, yes.
Technological marvels back when they were first introduced, but now they are manufactured mainly for the serious LARPer.
I'd rather shoot with a 3-9x.
Nope. Anyone saying saying otherwise is a dick gobbling faggot.
No, they're awesome for anything that 5.56 can do. medium range engagements are easy as shit, the eye relief is commonly shit on by people, but I frankly cant agree with the idea that a 1.5 inch eye relief is sub-optimal, where I can keep on the optic way easier than with a variable mag optic at the same magnification setting, and the glass is incredible, mine was definitely worth getting rid of my tavor for.

>U.S. Army recruiters have abruptly canceled enlistment contracts for hundreds of foreign-born military recruits since last week, upending their lives and potentially exposing many to deportation, according to several affected recruits and a retired Army officer and former Pentagon official familiar with their situation.
>Many of these enlistees have waited years to join a troubled immigration recruitment program designed to attract highly skilled immigrants into the service in exchange for fast-track citizenship.
>Now recruits and experts say that recruiters are shedding their contracts to free themselves from an onerous enlistment process, which includes extensive background investigations, to focus on individuals who can more quickly enlist and thus satisfy strict recruitment targets.

Fake news. The word they leave out is "illegal". What a cohencidence.

What's the tl;dr on this?
Confess your sins, and seek redemption by the /k/ube.
Last night I decided to shit up the board by posting a bunch of caliber war threads. The first was a post in favor of .22wm for self defense, the second was in favor of .40 cal, the third in favor of .45, and the last was in favor of 380.
I flamed with many stupid replies, and jimmies were rustled. I was also shitposting hard about Ruger and Glock in other threads. I am very sorry. In an effort to redeem myself in some small way, I swept all my spent brass to some old guys
in the stall next to me at the range earlier today. They were overjoyed, as if they had won the lottery. Now, go on anon, what are your sins?

I actually filter all tripfags/namefags.
This is not a place for dicksucking.
Oppie is not an exception
I threw out the love of my life for my own selfish reasons and lost my chance to find someone like her.
Don't actually own any guns.

Underrated and aesthetically pleasing hardware

A co-worker gives you a great deal on a firearm, after her family member dies, and you come here to make fun of them?
Stay classy, dickweed.
So, the past two years has seen the introduction of many polymer designs stemming from the MHS trials, or are just takes on what a modern, striker fired handgun should be.
So, in your opinion, which one of these new handguns is going to prove to be the most successful and why?
Also, which one do you prefer?
>CZ P10C
>HK VP9
>Sig P320
>Beretta APX
>S&W M&P 2.0
>Glock Gen5
>Walther PPS
>FN 509
Which one is the biggest failure?
Sig 320. Factory recalls a deal breaker.
Other than those who are all for the p320, everybody has dissmissed it as a failure from a safety standpoint. If you can't eve make you pistol drop safe, you may as well not make one. Pistols from wwii had that shit, ffs.
>>35177043
>>35177438
Idk man, it's still going to be the next US service pistol regardless.
I think the biggest loser is the APX
Hi, clueless girlanon nogunz here,
I'm not old enough for CC in my state but I'm trying to think ahead as to what handfun to get for daily carry. I already carry CS pepper spray for safety reasons. I have a lot of experience shooting rifles (22lr to .30-06) and I've had my share of handgun experience but it isn't very extensive.
I'm thinking about either starting myself off with a basic fullsize to "learn" handguns (like a g19 or cz75) or maybe I could just do that with a subcompact (singlestack, probably 9mm or 380) that I could also carry?
I've also completely ignored revolvers until now, but I'm seeing them a lot in EDC threads. Are they a viable option for me? I've got some upper body strength, so maybe I could handle something with more recoil?
What have been your experiences anons? Any other fellow smol-folk to share advice? Basically, what should I carry, and what should I keep in mind when choosing? I'm a little out-of-the-loop so anything helps
>>35176774
>I'm not old enough for CC in my state
carry whatever you feel comfortable with. i'd reccomend trying out a few basic handguns like a full sized polymer pistol, a full sized metal pistol, a compact polymer pistol, etc. you could really carry anything you want, you'll just probably print with larger pistols
>>35176815
By try out, you mean rent them at a range?
That's a bit expensive and I'm probably gonna get something polymer. I'm not exactly drowning in money and I'd rather keep my first gun on the cheap side.
I've seen a lot of women carry revolvers, which kinda confuses me. I don't mean like, shove a 686 down your pants, but those smaller ones. What benefits do they have over just a regular carry gun? Are they more reliable? safer? easier to handle?
I'm definitely not going to carry anything big, so printing wont be an issue.
Just wondering what people's personal experiences are to see if I can apply them to my life is all

I turn 21 soon
Why are shotguns always the go-to recommendation for home defense?
They're long unless shortened which makes for more difficulty clearing tight indoor spaces which most homes have an abundance of. They're loud especially indoors and stand a higher chance of permanently damaging your hearing than a handgun. Most recommended shotguns are pump action which creates a higher chance for user error during intense situations. All in all, they seem like a bad choice for home defense with the only benefit being that firing from the hip might be potentially more accurate because of the pellet spread, but even then within 10-15 yards that's not going to matter much.
Wouldn't an ideal home defense gun be a good full size handgun or even a subgun? They're smaller, hold more rounds, won't fuck your ears up as much and will cycle automatically for more rapid fire. Yet every home defense and prepper list says you NEED a shotgun.
So please, tell me /k/. What is so good about a shotgun that a pistol, subgun, or SBR can't do?
You can take shotgun, and fire TWO BLASTS
Absolutely nothing, the "home defense pump action shotgun" fudd meme and the "rifles aren't suitable for home defense" gun grabber memes are old as shit and retarded as hell.
Literally just buy hollow points for your handgun or rifle, or buy a semi auto shotgun. Double barrel and pump action for defense is a meme.
/thread
SBR would probably be louder than at scattergat in doors.
The selling point of a shotgun is one shot doing the damage of 9 .38's. Shotguns are also dirt cheap. Just bought my 590 for $365. Ammunition is relatively cheap and very plentiful. Sights are simple and fast compared to iron sights on rifles.
Why isnt bullpup the dominant rifle design of modern militaries /k/? Also bullpup general thread.
>inb4 ar babbies crying about ergos
It wasn't developed by a superpower during a time where mass production of small arms and mass adoption of a new small arms platform was happening, as with most failed service rifles that were actually better than what it was supposed to replace
>>35176417
Lack of development, demand, as well as it really doesn't offer that much in terms of benefits.
>>35176417
>Why isnt bullpup the dominant rifle design of modern militaries /k/?
wow, another thread by a nongunz.
The concept is basically a drone version of a pylon adapter for AIM-120s.
It should be able to carry two missiles, and act as an autonomous launch platform to extend their range.
This request is more than just about this design though, it's also meant to evaluate the manufacturer's ability to quickly produce a large quantity of a specific piece of equipment.
I think a lot of people missed this point during the recent OA-X trials, as they were meant to try a new, faster method of evaluating off-the-shelf designs as much as actually try out the airframes.

Looks like a response to that Chinese torpedo drone.

That WIG drone?

yes,but actually reusable therefore called "flying rail"
What're your thoughts on handcannons?
By which of course I mean pistols chambered for obnoxiously large cartridges.
Neato range toys good luck doing anything else with them.
Such as this Marlin BFR, chambered for .450 Marlin, shooting an enormous 350-grain bullet at 1,814 feet per second.

How are the M&P 2.0 pistols? I do want a Glock, but I'm in Canada where they're significantly more money, and the Gen 5s haven't reached us yet. The m&p seems like the next best thing.

How does Flak work ? How gun kill airplane ?
>>35175877
Gun makes hole in plane, plane falls down.
>>35175877
The shells they fire contain explosives that trigger at a preset height. The shrapnel resulting from said explosion is suppose to rip through the plane in hopes of hitting a critical component.
>>35175889
So it requires a direct hit ? Seems hard to achieve on a fast-moving plane.
