Hey /ic/, I used to swim twice a wek and go to the gym on the rest of the days, but I dropped sports altogether because I just got too tired to draw (work all day and draw at night). What sports do you practice to have a more well rounded life?
I think you're in the wrong place. /fit/ is around the corner.
>>2967148
I mean, people there shouldn't be able to relate with the lack of energy to draw...
>>2967151
Artists don't live well rounded lives either.
flawless paintings
There's no real depth in the right bottom flower though
>>2966167
They look like whipped cream.
>>2966167
No edge variation, shit palette. Numerous tangents/near-tangents close to the border of the image. This is like a 5/10 painting, OP. Get some taste.
ive made like a base for a game concept sorta like the kardashian games but i suck at eyelashes someone draw them for me, needs to be like blocky fat eyelashes but still look good
>>2962608
Fuck off
Do your own work.
>>2962609

Why slavs are dominating traditional art?
>>2962760
the fuck else are you going to do if you live there
>anon my ex Ivan had a lot better understanding of fundamentals than you
>>2962760
because if you leave what art gets made up to capitalism it results in the lowest effort for the most money. if you leave it up to glorious stalinism you get great art (at the cost of loss of freedom)
If I want to be a professional one day, will I have to have an alias since my name is difficult for English speakers to pronounce and/or remember?
Bosch is not a good example but I mean, does anyone remember his first name
>>2966816
They'll probably just give you a nickname anyways.
>>2966816
Yepp
>>2966816
you can if you like, there's actually a pretty strong tradition of using a nick name for art, like da vinci, or michelangelo
I haven't drawn in 3 days
>>2965847
Then just draw
>>2965847
Not gonna make it.
>>2965847
THINK I'M HEARING VOICES
PARANOID I THINK I'M SEEING LOOMISES OH SHIT
why is his work so good?
loomis
He would draw loomis 12 hours a day
he read more loomis
What is this art style called? Examples and tips are also welcomed.
>>2966510
I forgot its name, let me google fu something up.
>>2966510
Woodblock print?
>>2966510
Looks like a woodblock print but you can get something close to it just with pen and ink. Woodblock is a huge pain in the ass to work with.
Why is it that shit 'art' like this gets 4000+ views on dA and 1400+ favs in the matter of less than a day?
They stapled a screenshot of a ghibli drawing and drew a less detailed version of it. Un fucking believable how normies are eating this shit up.

Because the general public are very gullible, more news at 11.

Le pencil in picture trend has to die
>>2964137
>taking a picture of the drawing with the utensil used
All that's missing is a pretentious signature and its perfect.
Any painters similar to Zdzisław Beksiński?

It's a bit of a strange question since painting encompasses drawing but bear with me. When I say painting i'm referring to color and values. And when I say drawing i'm referring to anatomy, construction, perspective, composition.
Now if you agree that drawing is more difficult than painting how much more difficult would you say it is? Like less say the total difficulty of drawing was 100 what number would you give painting.
and proportion, shape design etc.
>>2966241
drawing is the base of painting, like the skeleton under the skin, we shouldn't compare that.
But to answer to your question I have more difficulties to learn colors than drawing, since I am drawing since I am very young and I wasn't interested in buying some paint at this moment
>>2966241
All mediums have a learning curve.
What's another good loomis book i should study after finishing this one?
>>2965857
Unironically How to draw manga
>>2965860
which specific book?
>>2965863
The one by Katy Coope is good. So are Mark Crilley's. Don't judge a book by its cover.
Look! they put /ic/ in breath of the wild!

I kek'd
Take this shit to /vg/ where it belongs.
It's all derivative af, no? Why aren't we bored with memetics yet?
We need new explorations of the possibility of art and cinema:

repubs are too retarded to art
>>2961125
I have a comic/manga about the 2016 election for all it's worth.
It IS meant to be apolitical though it's just entertainment. That said, it is red-pilled in the sense that it does go on about the deep state, and Soros, and all that. I tried to pitch it to the Reddit mods as a "tool to help redpill people," but you know how Redditors are with their whole "we're Reddit, we don't like being advertised to," nonsense.
Meh.
Anyway, if you're looking for right-wing art that isn't memes, well there you go.
