Digital hoarders; how do you organize your files? How do you search them for what you need?
>>61946820
Depends on what kind of data we're talking about. Memes are organized in their own respective folders.
Music is organized based on artist then on year of the album/album title.
Movies I just put in a folder after movie title and year in parenthesis.
Porn is organize by female performer.
Uni stuff I organize by subject.
Ebook by title only.
Anything else is just a clusterfuck though, like my downloads folder and desktop.
>not having an ssd so small you can't store anything
My computer is always like it's freshly installed, there's nothing on it

What a sad life. Also, OP was asking hoarders, not retards.
I am trying to buy a US thinkpad and import into Europe (ireland). My plan to avoid paying import duty and vat is to use a mail forwarding service and hope for the best..
Anyone come up with a less retarded plan?
Ideally Id get the mail forwarder to remove all the packaging and just send the laptop and documentation separately and put in a letter stating its my personal laptop I left in the states.. Thats the best I can come up with..
>>61946808
why not just buying it from some eu reseller?
>>61946808
You posted your intentions on-line. Customs will be expecting a package sent to your address now. Doesn't matter which excuse you use, you just confessed your intentions to break he law.
Remember that you live in one of the most heavily internet activity monitoring countries in the world.

A pair of SQL Servers in a failover cluster followed by Exchange Server DAG cluster.
So I've recently started watching Mr. Robot and while it's kind of good because of its attention to detail, a lot of it is either a ripoff from previous movies/series or extremely unlikely to happen .
Also, I know it's fiction but it kind of bothers me that the .dat file in the first episode that was changed by Elliot wasn't checked with a md5 checksum or something a bit more secure. Maybe I missed that part as I was fapping to tranny porn simultaneously.
Also again, what the fuck is Christian Slater doing in there? Ever since he voiced Moses in "The Ten Commandments" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTpKYlFVtyQ, I'm very weary of his authenticity as a person.
It kind of seemed like the disturbingly unrealistic ideas of the average faggot here on /g/. Which would include me as I definitely like getting raped by black men.
Anyway, CIA niggers probably financed it.

Good news: Finally, that annoying "profile missing" dialog box that appears everytime I click something is GONE.
Bad news: holy shit, my addons!
>>61946355
At least you are only missing like one that doesn't have webkit versions/replacements. For me the new version changes how I fundamentally browse the internet due to the lack of extensions so I'm royally fucked.
Have you been living under a rock? They literally announced last year that anything but WebExtensions would be deprecated in version 57, and you're even so stupid you complain when you're using the nightly version where support for old addons will be dropped first.

Is there a good open source alternative to 95-XP era MS Paint?

GIMP has been around for some time.

hello frogg-o
KolourPaint, as long as you don't mind the 50-100 dependencies :^)
Okay, I have a new computer, installed (pirate) Windows 10.
After several updates and all that problem appeared. When I turn it on, it gets stuck on desktop. After restart, it gets stuck on loading. Another restart, stuck again.
Finally, after several restarts, it manages to load properly and works without any issues.
I tried disabling fast startup, I disabled everything but Avast on startup, removed login, yet it still gets stuck and needs several restarts.
What could be the problem here?
>>61946186
So what's your question?
>>61946209
My question is what could be the problem here. It's really tiring to restart computer for 10-30 minutes every day before it starts working properly.
>>61946223
You knew about windows and restarts, right? It's only a thing for the last 27 years or so. . .
Why are there no gsync 1080p IPS monitors?
I don't want 1440p due to shitty resolution scaling and games run poorly even on a 1080ti at 4k.
Do I really need to buy a 4k monitor and run it at 1080p?
because its a waste of money meme.
>>61946180
profit margins are too low on 1080p goyim, it's like you're not willing to support nvidias need to keep profit margins above 60%. Stop being antisemitic
>>61946173
You don't need g-sync. That 1080ti easily manages 60fps so just use regular v-sync

Do MicroSD cards do wear leveling?
I got a Toshiba card with unreadable blocks -tested with badblocks- but they are always at same sectors. So my guess is at least my card doesn't do wear leveling. Is my guess correct?

Find the motherboard's cd install the ethernet driver from there.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
