Can Raspberry Pi 3 be used as a "normal" PC that's usually only used for browsing the net? The shortage of RAM scares me, especially on bloated sites like Facebook (it's for my mother). Every old backup PC I had died and it seems a waste spending 100$+ on a PC that only ever runs Firefox.

CloudFlare was one of them. CloudFlare, Tor, GoDaddy, and domain registrars in general should be neutral entities and not be the police of internet content.
The CEO of CloudFlare literally woke up in a bad mood and decided to kick them off. He states;

The company I work gave some ABAP trainning for free.
I was like: "cool, free stuff, let's see this thing".
After doing 3 actual programs I am like: WTF this shit is total CRAP!!!!!!
I fell like programming inside a jail. Fuck this shit is garbage.

I'm interested to see how 480Hz feels, it's kind of gimmicky at only 540p though. Hopefully this is just the first step and 1080p/480Hz will be possible soon.

They mention this in the article, the problem with VA and IPS is the higher GtG response time. At 480fps the framerate would literally be faster than the GtG time, the fastest IPS panels are usually 4ms while 480fps has a frametime of 2ms.

Now that AMD has caught Intel with their panties down, will finally start seeing significant gains in PC performance?
What does the return of AMD as a competitive CPU manufacturer mean for the computer industry?
On a side note, will VIA ever make an attempt to come back or are they just going to struggle along until they die out? They're the only other company with a valid x86_64 licence that I know of, that are still around.
