The buses and extension tram uses the ticket below, somehow they can still be recognized by the turnstile.

And what material does the normal train ticket uses? Literally no light can pass through.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
>>
>>62160366
Except that he is literally referencing the Linux kernel, because Android doesn't have the GNU corelibs/utils. Use your copypasta right, dumbass.

I'm gonna watch my community college's wifi with a packet sniffer tomorrow. It doesn't say anything about it in the ToS. How likely do you think it is that their watching for promiscuous signals? How likely do you think it is I'll get anything good?
10 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Depending on where you live, they don't have to write it in their ToS because its simply illegal by law (for example the shit country I am from, Germany).
Also I don't think you'll get something good. Most stuff thats interesting is HTTPS secured, so no login credentials = who cares.
>>
>watching for promiscuous signals
lol they wont see shit, bud. Neither will you. Everything of value is packed away in TLS.
>>
>>62158953
I'm not familiar with TLS.

and I'm sure I'll get something. It's in a big-ish City. Someone's gotta be dumb enough to try logging in insecurely.

DESU, all I really want are pictures.

I haven't reinstalled windows in over a year and I have a lot of junk that I never bothered with.

I guess my problem is a driver leak - I'm just going to install another OS can't be bothered with it.. I could've not been bothered with cleaning my os in a year anyway lmao

Unfortunately i'm too young to have experienced the old internet, the era of the weird adobe flash animations, mod trackers, forums, different sites for different communities, no modern social networks, no normies, the begin of the internet, from 1990 to early 2000's
I'd like to frequent some of the historical sites that are still in use and detach a bit from the social networks and modern video/audio streaming services
I also create videos, images and music, so i'd like to upload them in some of this sites, even if they're way less frequented
19 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
There's no such thing as the pre-normalfag web, the web was made by and for normalfags. The real internet was dead by the early 90s.
>>
>I also create videos, images and music, so i'd like to upload them in some of this sites
hold your horses there buddy, this concept is not compatible with the old internet

you're going to have to attach those things to an email to give to the webmaster of the website, where he may or may not choose to upload it, or link it
and there's not going to be any videos playing on the site itself, are you crazy?
your music better be midi format too else it's not going to be there either

images are probably fine

>Unfortunately i'm too young

If you're worried about privacy from a legal standpoint, externally hosted email is not a good option no matter who hosts it.

If you're not worried about your privacy, then gmail continues to be a viable option, as do those you posted.

If you don't like google specifically, just pick a different one you like and stick to it.

Is it possible for data corruption to be somehow transferrable?

I had an old hard drive with tons of files that was having a lot of issues seeking/accessing them (super slow rates, etc.). After copying them byte for byte to another drive, the new drive has the same difficulties accessing them.
Neither drives were fragmented so I am completely at a loss.

>>
>>62158275
The files themselves are missing bits here and there. Hence, the butterfly effect. Or something.
>>
When the files open they are perfectly fine but just the process of opening or accessing them takes ages.

For example, a 7KB txt file just took 15 seconds to open.

Another example, opening a folder makes it stall out for 1-2 minutes.

This would be totally understandable if the HDD was failing but this is a brand new one I just copied the data onto.
