Didn't know where to ask so I'm asking here. I would like to corrupt my SD Card and i don't know how. I have tried ejecting multiple times while it is writing data to it with no avail. I do not want to actually break it or crush it or melt it, just have it so the data can't be read or viewed. How do I do this? Google results only provides results on how to fix or view corrupted data. Any help would be appreciated.

Give it back Tyrone.
>>
>>59533040
sudo dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/sd*

replace the * with the letter for your SD card.

this'll basically write random data to the whole thing.
>>
>>59533040
Couldn't you just shred the device file?

>he hasn't overclocked his shitty 60Hz IPS monitor
What are you waiting for, dumbass? My U2414H does 74Hz with custom timings.

>>

>>59534347
Search google for name of your monitor + overclock and just copy what others do. Chances are you can overclock your monitor up to 77Hz through Nvidia control panel using "CVT reduced". Mine only goes up to 68Hz with CVT reduced, but U2414H are shit at overclocking using default timings so I found the custom timings in a forum post somewhere. I can probably squeeze out another 2-5Hz using even lower timings, but I don't really feel like testing it right now.

We do not talk about the music as it is but how it's created and what we use and how to help
others get better

1 simple rule I hope you can guys do, please don't be assholes to those who
have a different perspective on another DAW, no matter what it is or how shitty
it is. I know there are some very laughable ones out there but ya know...
So please just be as helpful as you can.

Hey if it works and you do good on it, that's all that matters.
It's like owning a cruise liner and having no idea how to drive it while the other dude owns a boat house and he knows the in's and out's of it. See my point? I wouldn't mind learning Ableton, I heard it's great for production but sucks with a piano roll

I just use Windows 10 Pro because I use my computer 90% of the time for gayemz or browsing the internet (watching JewTube, etc.). I just think that it would be worth the time to use Linux since I don't use my computer for much else, even though I am still slightly interested.

Q: What is meme about Windows 10 LTSB?

A: Nothing.

if i am running windows i might as well be running ltsb. No Cortana, Store, store apps etc..

Well I'm currently trying to replace my hard drive with a SSD (I got that far it's just plugging and screws) and now I'm stuck on trying to get the OS installed with the Windows 7 disk I had. And, I know you guys aren't the place to ask for tech help but...

Look I just wanted to watch anime without my screen turning into a neon shit taco because my hard drive had aids, I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. And I don't know where to look. Yeah I googled the problem and it was all 'check your BIOS/RAID/Queztalcoatl drivers are synched to SHODAN at q'o'clock or the goblins will emerge from the ground and eat your kids' I built this thing like five years ago and even then getting the hard drive to recognize the MOBO was a bitch and a half. I don't know what terms I need to look for, what to troubleshoot or anything.

So where do I go and what magic IT words do I need to know to understand what's going on? Is that board-friendly, is a shove in the right direction okay?

Was gonna ask this on /3/ but that board is dead lol.

Anyway.
I'm just a freshman CS student but I was thinking if It's possible of if there's any example of making a 3D basic game engine where there are character on screen that are composed of 2D shapes.

Something like building a 3D character using 2D sprites similar to how flash cartoons are made or how 2D animations with rigs works.

Something like Live 2D, the 3D demo but without using a 3D model, just 2D sprites.

>>
That's called Paper Mario
>>
>>59532876
paper mario are 2D sprites.

I mean something like Spriter but in 3D.
>>
>>59532907
I mean as early as Wolf 3D you essentially have sprite based characters that can turn around and walk away from the player. Those were action-states though, if you look at the game's code, they weren't dependent on the angle at which the player was looking at them.

Doom has what (I think) you're talking about, where an enemy (or any entity) can idle and the player can walk around them and the sprite will change based on the angle the player is looking at them and the orientation of the enemy-object. That's pretty easy to do, but I'm not entirely sure if that's what you're looking for.

So here's what recently happened /g/.
On /pol/, somebody posted a thread showing this (i believe to be) hexadecimal code. This was shortly after someone posted a thread with a pic of 2 guns and a bomb posting coordinates to a hotel in Barcelona. That thread got deleted.
http://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/117835419/#117840666
When translating the hexadecimal to text, it comes out as some gibberish which is located in the link.
http://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/117835419/#117843471
I was wondering if anyone on /g/ could help me decipher for sure what this hex code really says?

>>
install gentoo
>>
>>59532638
This is 8-bit code and obviously can't be translated straight to ascii. Something needs to be done to the code that a clever puzzle solver could find, that is assuming the OP pic has some sort of code in it like a boolean operation to be done to it or a ceaser cipher code.

Could you recommend some systemd-less GNU+Linux distros?
Gentoo seemed like the perfect choice for me, but it turned out to be harder than I expected. I'm also lazy to set it all up for everyday use. CentOS 6 was also nice, but it hasn't got much of a desktop support, and it's only supported 'till 2020.
