I -really- want a 16c/4xDDR4 Zen workstation though, even if I think the platform isn't a perfect substitution for Xeon-D.
My mom bought a PC for work without any software. I want to make her a just werks PC, so that she can turn it on, work, and turn it off without unnecessary interruptions.
She needs MS Office, Thunderbird and a browser and she wants Windows 7 because she knows it.
I use a cracked MS Office 2016 but had problems with activation's over the time that she wouldn't be able to fix it herself.
Here is a key for 5€, is there a reason not to do this?

I second this. MSE gets a lot of crap because of its integration with Windows and the existence of other free solutions, but it gets more updates than most AV solutions and works reasonably well for the price.
That and Malwarebytes with a weekly scan should be more than plenty to keep her machine clean.

The stereo system I just pieced together. I completely disabled the preamp section in the Unitra because it was fucking awful, but the power amp is quite good. I'm using the Grundig SXV 6000 as the preamp. The graphic EQ on top is pretty much just for show, though it can be inserted in the signal chain by turning on the monitor input on the preamp. I'm also waiting on a nice Marantz CD player. Sorry for the picture quality, I have low light in here. Can take close-up pictures if you so desire.

Anyone here with experience on this?
I wanna try my luck at youtube to possibly get some extra income(poorfag so every extra dollar counts). I already have few videos done ready to upload but its all meme tier clickbait garbage so I'd like to distance my real self from it as much as possible.
I still don't have a youtube channel, google account, adsense and whatever else might be necessary. I'd like to first ask /g/ how far can I go in maintaining my privacy. Where do I get away with using aliases/fake names and where should I use my real info?
Please help? Feel free to give any extra opinions you might think are relevant.

i received a computer from a friend that has no hard drive and a motherboard that "might be going out soon"
im kind of poor and i have 86$ to spend on it, I play mainly league of legends and overwatch
Im planning on buying a cheap 500 gig hard drive... anybody have any other ideas?
should i save money to get a solid state?
~I also have to have money left over for new power cords, HDMI, etc.
