Could you recommend some systemd-less GNU+Linux distros?
Gentoo seemed like the perfect choice for me, but it turned out to be harder than I expected. I'm also lazy to set it all up for everyday use. CentOS 6 was also nice, but it hasn't got much of a desktop support, and it's only supported 'till 2020.

PCLinuxOS. Sabayon is gentoo based and pre-configured, but I believe it does use systemD. In case it doesn't use sD you should try it.

If you're planning for the future, you should just use systemd. It is the future.
Don't let the fud and the memes anger you.
