>being concerned about online ID theft
How to solve the problem in five easy steps!
1. Don't use public WiFi, ever!
2. Don't put personal information on the Internet, ever! NEVER PUT YOUR SSN INTO A N Y T H I N G
3. Ask your bank about security options. Make every transaction need to be verified for you, etc.
4. Only take your cards out when you intend to buy something. Carry cash instead. Keep your cards inside of a lockbox.
5. Read up on security!

Should I learn Java or Python? Don't recommend a different language, which one of those two is better. I already know visual basic and html/css, if that matters.
>>59534625
Java, or just both. Python is something you can pick up in a day if you know java already.
>>59534625
Learn for what purpose? I'd say Java because it's more similar to languages you might actually use (C, C++).
Python is neat to know if you just want to run some simple scripts and have a nice, powerful scripting environment. But if you're actually making an application, use Java.
Which custom ROM do you run on your Android phone anon? What's the least shitty alternative for a phone that doesn't support Replicant?
I don't because I'm not a fucking idiot.

AMD doesn't actually believe that they can compete with Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors, do they?

I've seen this posted since /prog/ but I still don't understand it. I know Python, JS, Ruby are not stack based languages, the JVM arguably is but Java is not. If it's just talking about activation record/register store stacks then C is too. How does this joke work?

Hello everyone on /g/
I don't really think this is against the board's rules but there seems to be an issue with ram on my computer, and i want to find out if it has either something to do with the ram its self, Possible rootkit, or a memory leak.
When i have nothing running on my computer (nothing big, like a game, google chrome, ect) it eats up 75% to 80% of my ram. Absolutely destroying my computers performance, and really making it a complete nightmare to deal with. I have a total of 16 GB of ram, so when nothing is running and 14.5 GB of ram is being used, there is an issue.
I just wanted to know if anyone has had this issue before and can maybe point me to the right direction, I've tried to look it up but everyone just says its MalWear, but I've done numerous full scans through my computer, leading me to believe its either a rootkit issue, a windows memory leak, or even hardware issue (note i have not tried putting in new ram sticks, and i plan on trying to do that eventually if all else fails.)
Another thing is that my CPU is at 4% or lower, so I don't know how 14.5 GB of ram can be run with that not spiking.
Also, when i did the math, it showed that 185.7 MB was equivalent to 16% of the memory that i could see in my task manager. This leads me to believe its something that won't even show up on my task manager, hence the reason why I ran so many Full Scans with Macafee.
Hopefully someone can help me! :D
OP here,
this is basically what im looking at and its confusing the hell out of me

I've always preferred 3space, but since they're tabs they are completely subjective to the individual developer's tastes and that is acceptable.
