ok /g/ I bought an Arduino what now?
now you make the led blink and then store it in a drawer afterwards
Create a dildo with intelligent vibration

Did that with my pi.
Great fun, and it fits right in that little empty corner.

>tfw I have project ideas but never actually commit
program your tub's faucet to turn on automatically

Shove up ass, post pics.
just helped a friend work on his mechanical engineering project using an Arduino to use Servo motors to open wooden doors that release golf balls and ping pong balls and then sort the types of balls in given time intervals. pretty fun for my second time using an Arduino. maybe you could make an alarm clock or something for personal use. pretty cool to wake up to a project you made.

however I have no clue how you would program it to have it adjusted so you can set different times for it to go off in a day. I don't think it works long term now that I think about it
What do you think? Install gentoo

Attach a wheel and battery pack to it and make it drive itself off your desk and into the trash
install RETROPIE for retro gaming

a couple buttons and a simple 7 segment display with a piezo speaker you could adjust alarm times, set the clock, have a display and sound
Take out a piece of paper (or open a text editor) and make a list of anything you do more than once per day. Then pick from that list any item and try to automate it with the Arduino controlling some electronic components. If you're not sure whether a particular component exists, ask >>>/diy/.

I use one to control my infinity mirror.

I used one to prototype my nixie tube and VFD clock circuit board.

Use it to shit post.
